Airstream in the Trees

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This classic 1983 Airstream is tucked in the corner of four and a half acres of beautiful second growth redwoods just outside the town of Trinidad. It is a sweet and simple space with three beds and ample necessities needed to cook a nice meal after a day exploring Humboldt. The Airstream's main heat source is a gas heater. WIFI service is available, there is no tv/entertainment center, so bring your laptop if you want to watch movies!

Potter’s Two Room Suite in the Redwoods

Two room suite in the trees has everything you’ll need for a relaxing and fun stay. Private entrance from our new outdoor staircase and deck into the living room and a well equipped mini kitchen. There’s a comfortable full size futon that can be used if needed with extra bedding provided. The private bathroom with shower and tub are right next door. The bedroom is in the attached 2nd room with a comfy queen sized bed. We live in the house too. You’ll feel like you’re in a treehouse.

The bedrooms have new comfortable queen-size beds and the spacious bathroom features double sinks. The living room area accommodates four people, providing a comfortable space to relax and unwind. Welcome to The Wind and Tide where forest meets sea. Our newly remodeled home is situated on three acres of forested cliffside overlooking the Pacific, just north of the seaside village of Trinidad. Tranquility awaits as you take a dip in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit, soaking up the sounds of sea lions, the views of migrating whales, and sunsets and stargazing galore. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.

A roomy tent w/queen-sized inflated bed, firepit/free wood, picnic table, propane heat if needed ($8 ). You should plan on bringing your own bedding: pillows, towels, sleeping bags, etc. We have provided this in the past, but electricity costs are so high (washing, drying) that we can no longer afford to do so. If you need bedding, we will provide it, but you will be charged an extra $25 (flat fee).
