We hand built this 2400 sq.ft home/cabin with local pine logs, these timbers that form the main structure of this cabin are hand notched and stacked local pine. We did most of the work and designing on this and were able to put a personal touch to the work inside and out. NOTE!!!This is a rustic place with modern convenience, (Knotty hickory cabinets, Pebble and tile showers, Bamboo floors, Local, pine, log exterior walls, Tulip popular interior, Log and barn wood furniture. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located house in our town. The fire and police department are across the road- no you will not constantly hear sirens. However you can hear town traffic and sometimes the train in the distance. Walking distance to coffee cafe, restaurant, theater, antique shop, and gift shop. 9 miles from Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. Beautiful ranch for camping, tubing, and swimming. Great fishing and canoeing near by. We provide an EV charger.

Black Betty on the Buffalo

Black Betty is located right beside the river at the halfway point on the kayaking route from the Buffalo River Resort. Cabin, Family, Duck Hunt, Fish, TN River/KY Lake

The location is quiet and serene. On some nights, if you sit on the deck/front porch, you can hear music from the nearby marina. Our cabin is very clean and sleeps up to 8 comfortably (see options below). Duck Hunters, Fishermen, Gun Training students and Families visit the area as it is near the TN River/KY Lake, Pilot Knob, Lakeshore, and Eva Beach. 3 Options when booking: Option 1, 1 Bedroom (up to 2 guests) Option 2, 2 Bedrooms (up to 4 guests) Option 3, 3 Bedrooms (up to 8 guests)

Wee Nook- a Hobbit Hole

Wee Nook is a 360 square foot living space with a full kitchen and bathroom. It is tucked underground in the middle of the woods. Please come enjoy the woods, farm animals, trails, pond and wide open space while you're here! As JRR Tolkien said: “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hold, and that means comfort.”

Lillies Pad sits on a 30 acer farm. If you like your privacy then this is for you. The cabin has a screened porch that lets you enjoy the view of Duck River. A lighted pavilion with a firepit is also on site for hanging out, which is even closer to the river. Surrounding properties are large farms, private hunting properties, lodges. It is country living, peaceful, a perfect get-a-way

Cottage By The Creek (One Hour (W) of Nashville)

Cottage by the Creek is a 600 sq ft converted grain barn built in the early 1900's. We've converted the space into a light and bright one bedroom, with a loft. There is a fully functional kitchen and custom bath with tile shower. The 30 ft front porch offers views of the cattle farm across the street and the year round flowing creek. Or enjoy the back patio with hot in and fire pit.

Blackwood Cabin

Our cabin is tucked back in the woods just minutes from Loretta Lynn’s Ranch and I40. It’s easy to get to but still feels private and quiet. Guests love sitting on the porch swing with a cup of coffee in the mornings, and soaking in the hot tub at night under the trees. It’s a peaceful spot to relax, unwind, and just enjoy being away from the noise for a bit.
