The Secret Cabin with hot tube in Nature Reserve

The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The cottage is cosy and it has everything you need to make a perfect meal in the kitchen or you can use the gas grill outside the cottage. It´s close to the sea and you can see the seals play along the shore. The cottage although small is ideal for 2-4 person. There is a free WIFI and on the veranda is a private hot tub where you can soak while enjoying the view. There is no light pollution here like in Reykjavik or in towns and therefore ideal location for watching the Northern Lights.
