Bergþóra's place is at a very picturesque location, well located to do a day trip around the East Fjords. We got quite late checking in, but were able to check in quite smoothly. Bergþóra was very helpful - she helped us out with some kitchen requirements as well. The place is okay for a small family (we were 3, with a toddler), but the common area could be a bit small for a larger group. We stayed here for two nights and had a lovely stay. Thank you Bergþóra!

This is hands down the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at. The photos don’t do it justice—the landscape and surroundings are breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere is unmatched. Loved our stay here! Very very helpful. Great family, they towed our car when we got stuck in the snow. Very sweet! The place was gorgeous! Private and peaceful. Definitely recommend!

Freyja’s accommodation was perfection. From the warm check-in with staff to the lovely stay, everything was perfect and thoughtfully tailored. The floors were heated and it was a cozy place to come to after a few days up north in the cold. Close to literally any and everything, I can't recommend it enough. It's the little touches that made it–the linens, the chocolates on the towel, the lovely staff. It was splendid.

Helga's Couple Retreat, is a nice, private, and quiet stay in Reykjavik. My girlfriend and I are very active, so we enjoyed the walk into downtown and wherever else we needed to go. This place is in a neighborhood of Reykjavik, not on the tourist strip, so if you are not into walking there are plenty of scooters around or the local bus to grab. Having stayed on multiple sides of Reykjavik, this area was really nice for the quiet and hometown feel. I would definitely stay here again and hope to be back soon.

Wir sind hier für eine Nacht während unseres Roadtrips um Island untergekommen. Die Unterkunft war super schön und hatte alles, was wir uns vorgestellt haben. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Kochmöglichkeiten, die bei vielen Unterkünften sonst lediglich aus einer Mikrowelle und/oder Wasserkocher bestanden. Und natürlich das Highlight: der Hotpot auf der Terrasse mit sehr schöner Aussicht! Absolute Empfehlung.

If you're visiting the Snæfellsnes peninsula, I highly recommend The Freezer Hostel. We stayed in one of the private rooms, and everything was very clean in our room and the bathrooms. Staying in the private room, we basically had a private bathroom down our hall. The common area is a great hangout spot to wind down at the end of the day, and the host was very friendly. The artwork and style of the hostel is very unique and something we will remember always. Just down the road is a beautiful waterfall that had very few people there both times we went. For bird watchers, there is a massive population of Arctic Terns that always seems to be present as you walk around Rif. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hostel and will definitely stay there again next time we visit Iceland.

Cindy was great! Room was nice and minimalistic and got the job done. Perfect for solo travelers like me. Hot tub was a bonus, though you do have to request it ahead of time, which wasn’t a big deal. Location is perfect- between the airport and Blue Lagoon, and a close drive to supermarket and restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at Hafdís’s little house! It had everything we needed and was cute and cozy. The surroundings are just beautiful and our children enjoyed playing outside in the garden. It was a great location for south coast (both East and West) activities!

Andri was an amazing host. He was always kind and responsive, He shared pastries with me and always on top of things. The location of the accommodation was right near downtown so exploring was made so easy. The private bathroom is well-kept. Overall, it was an amazing stay. 10/10 recommend

Perfect Iceland ring road midway stop. We stayed here for two nights during late March. The studio is very spacious and very well equipped, you feel like at home. The views to the lake are magnificent and peaceful. Washer and dryer combo machine was very convenient to do midway laundry on our trip. Plenty of sights to visit and enjoy winter snow walks. Highly recommend place. We had a very pleasant stay.

Very cute, nicely decorated studio space. Everything was provided for a great stay. Loved that there was even a smart tv. Communication was very easy through the app with prompt responses.
