this was an excellent place to stay! the location truly cannot be beat, the unit is practically inside the (otherwise whisper-quiet) train station, while staying convenient to a number of other amenities a short walk away. the hosts were cordial and kept in constant contact without being obtrusive. check-in and check-out were easy, the unit was spacious, and everything worked as described. we would definitely stay in this unit again should we ever return to Wengen.

Amazing place, Amazing location, Amazing views! We spent a week here in the winter with our two kids (6 and 8 years old) and never had a boring moment. The apartment is really nice and has all that one needs. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds. The apartment is very clean. The location is ideal! Great hiking trails right from the door. 10 minutes down the road is the Meiringen resort with tons of winter and summer possibilities. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. Malcolm and Louise are wonderful, very kind hosts. We can highly recommend their place!!

Super clean which I appreciated! Beautiful view and surroundings. The steep hill coming back in the evenings was a killer but needed after all the bread and cheese I had been eating so I didn’t mind it too much. 😜The bed is a low platform bed so getting in and out with bad knees was challenging especially after a long hike and bike ride. Those would be the only downsides. Host was super responsive and gave clear instructions. Thanks for a great stay!

Our family of three loved this place and it was great for our needs. Our 10-year-old child was ready to live here forever after a few minutes and particularly loved the upstairs space with the bunkbed! The layout is really comfortable and the apartment had all the amenities that we needed or wanted. Its location is convenient to multiple restaurants, the Männlichen cable car station and the swimming pool. The view from the upstairs terrace is lovely and we spent time out there even though the weather was cool and rainy for a couple of the days during our visit. Accessing the apartment requires climbing stairs and the recycling for glass and aluminum cans is a five-minute walk to behind the train station, but those are the only very minor distractions from what was otherwise a wonderful stay!

Location location location! So convenient being right near the station, Coop and main street but most of all that breathtaking view over the Lauterbrunnen valley, which is worth every single centime! The studio is small but perfectly formed and kitted out with all you need for a comfortable and homely stay. Kathleen is a proactive and thoughtful host, providing detailed information to help you get the most out of your visit. She even suggested I consider moving my dates to earlier in October so that I would avoid the closure of the Mannlichen cablecar and much of the village’s restaurants. I was so grateful as Mannlichen, along with visiting Lauterbrunnen, Murren and Gimmewald were all absolute highlights. The village of Wengen itself is so beautiful and the perfect base for a Bernese Oberland stay. I cannot recommend it, nor this lovely studio, more highly. Thank you Michael and Kathleen and I very much hope I can return one day!

Tolle kleine Wohnung mitten in Lauterbrunnen - Bahnhof nach Wengen und Gondel nach Mürren sind sehr schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Wohnung gibt es alles, was man braucht - sogar einen kleinen Balkon. Ursula hat immer sofort auf unsere Nachrichten reagiert & war super hilfreich! Insgesamt große Empfehlung!

The place was scenic and peaceful. Easily accessible by public transport but about 10-15minutes walk to the nearest grocery stores and train station. Overall, the experience was pleasant and satisfactory.

A modern clean and spacious apartment with a short walk from Interlaken West station. Therese is a wonderful host, super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. She met us at the door and let us check in early when the room was ready that made our trip so much smoother. I recommend it to anyone for a convenient and comfortable stay in Interlaken.

Excellent stay at Ursula's place! The home was very clean and comfortable, with a spectacular view of the mountains. Will truly miss the views while walking to the house. Ursula is also very helpful and communication was excellent. Also very accommodating with a later checkout. Would highly recommend!

Gelegen in een rustige, authentieke omgeving zonder massatoerisme, is dit de perfecte uitvalsbasis om de prachtige Zwitserse Alpen te verkennen. Het uitzicht is adembenemend, de stilte weldadig, en de sfeer ongedwongen. De woning zelf is eenvoudig op het eerste gezicht, maar alles is doordacht ingericht. Zelfs bij minder goed weer biedt het huisje een comfortabel en aangenaam verblijf. Het bed heeft een uitstekende matras – we hebben zelden zo goed geslapen – en de douche is verrassend krachtig, ideaal voor gespannen schouders na een dag wandelen. Gastvrouw Elisabeth verdient een speciale vermelding. Ze heeft met zorg en aandacht allerlei informatiefolders klaargelegd en hielp ons bij het aanmaken van een toeristenkaart voor de omgeving, waarmee we korting kregen op activiteiten, soms zelfs gratis vervoer en kabelbanen. We vonden het oprecht jammer dat we weer verder moesten reizen. Elisabeth: bedankt voor ALLES!

Pia’s apartment is fantastic: great location, cleanness, private and secured residency for my whole family to stay, easy check in and check out. In addition, Pia is very friendly and responsive to communicate. Definitely, I will choose Pia’s apartment in the future for my family’s next trip to Interlaken; I will also to recommend Pia’s apartment for my friends who want to have a leisure trip to Interlaken area.

The apartment was immaculate and offered stunning views of the valley. All furniture was tasteful and very modern. All rooms were ample sized and the beds were extremely comfortable. The whole apartment has been designed beautifully. The Hot Tub was magnificent and a real treat. A very minor issue was the low beams in the upstairs bedroom, as being 6ft, I banged my head a couple of times in the bathroom during the night time, but that was my fault, not theirs! As Hosts, Martin and his wife were incredibly warm, welcoming and responsive to all our needs. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time. We honestly can’t fault it and would recommend to anyone, and very much hope to be back one day.

It’s a very beautiful place and I really recommend it. Only downside is that because it is near the alps, there is only a bus that comes every hour that reaches the Airbnb. However, it is incredibly beautiful and the place is very clean. I really recommend it.

Stayed for 3 nights in August , we fell in love with the area, went hiking up mountain just behind our building, went fishing in Biel, dined at Grimsel Hotel and walked to neighbouring towns of Ulrichen and Oberwald. Such green peaceful beauty will have us coming back! Leon was a wonderful host, he communicated with us quickly each time and even left us a welcome basket of goodies as well as coffee pods, nice touch! Super clean apartment, thank you !

We loved our stay here!! My wife and I were visiting Murren for our first-year anniversary and Nic’s Airbnb was the perfect spot for us. Their kitchen allowed us to cook healthy breakfasts for ourselves (tough to get good vegetarian food in Switzerland otherwise), and the views through the balcony were amazing! Highly recommend

My dog and I had such a wonderful time at Marlie's place, and we cannot wait to return. It's a clean, simple, and comfortable with excellent amenities like the hot tub and wood stove. Marlise is so helpful and the check-in and check-out couldn't be easier. The view is even better than the pictures and the easy access to so many trails was a huge plus. Highly recommend.

Hated the fact we had to leave! I miss it already. I would definitely recommend staying at this AirBNB. There are so many great things to say about this place! The bed is comfortable, the place is clean, the views are amazing, the hot tub is phenomenal and we used it every night! Stacey and her husband are so kind, easy to talk to and helped us with a multitude of things like with the train schedule, set us up for hot tubs every night, gave us suggestions on nearby restaurants and left us a bottle of sparkling wine🙂. They’ve really set the bar for the most perfect hosts, AirBNB and location. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say. I would strongly recommend and would come back in a heartbeat!

This is a very nice apartment within the sports center in the town of Murren. (We almost overlooked this listing because it is advertised as Lauterbrunnen - which is apparently the name for the region. It is NOT located in the town of Lauterbrunnen). Beds were comfortable; having two bathrooms was great; the living area was a really nice place for us to hang out; kitchen was well equipped. And the views were fantastic! We really wanted to stay up in the mountains and not down in the valley and felt very lucky to find this place since there weren’t great hotel options for a family of five. Franziska was very nice to deal with and gave clear instructions for checking in.
