We had a fantastic stay at Verena's house in Axalp. The house has breathtaking views out of every window and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The property was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Axalp is beautiful and quiet and we found it to be an ideal location to return to relax after visiting the busier areas around Interlaken. The drive up from Brienz takes about 15 to 20 minutes and is spectacular every time. One of the days we hiked to the lake Hinterburgseeli and had a swim which was incredible. Giessbach hotel and waterfalls are a short drive away and magical. Lauterbrunnan and Grindlewald are a reachable in under an hour. Verena is a great host and I would highly recommend coming to stay at her property. We did not want to leave! Thank you Verena.

Truly felt like home to us. It was a superb place and Daniela is an amazing host. Highly recommended. The whole place is very well-equipped and location is perfect.

흠잡을데 없는 숙소였습니다. 생활에 필요한 모든게 있어서 굉장히 편합니다. 내리막길에 위치하긴 하지만 그린델발트의 대부분의 숙소가 그렇기 때문에 큰 단점이 아닙니다. 오히려 역과 쿱이 가까워서 굉장히 편했습니다. 리타 대신 맞이해준 아이린은 굉장히 친절했고, 숙소의 대부분의 설명이 상세했습니다. 특히 한국인이 많이 오는지 한국어 설명도 굉장히 유용했어요. 화장실은 매우 신식이었고, 넓어서 좋았습니다. 마당에 나오면 보이는 풍경은 평생 잊지 못할거에요. 부모님이 매우 만족하며 지냈어요.

What an amazing modern home in a beautiful location! I would recommend anyone consider staying in this beautiful home! We travelled with our 3.5 year old twins and it was such a joy stay here. If we return to Switzerland, we'd love to stay here again.

Sehr schöne Umgebung und Aussicht. Im Haus gibt es alles, was man braucht. Die Gastgeber sind telefonisch sehr gut erreichbar und sehr Hilfsbereit.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Chalet sehr genossen. Fernab vom Trubel und Stress konnten wir die wunderbare Lage und Aussicht geniessen. Urs und seine Eltern waren stehts erreichbar, hilfsbereit und haben sich gut um uns gekümmert. Vielen Dank!

Nous avons passé un week-end exceptionnel dans ce chalet ! Très spacieux, parfaitement équipé, avec de grands espaces de vie et une vue absolument magnifique. L’emplacement est idéal, et l’équipe Steinneg a été très disponible et réactive tout au long du séjour. Merci encore pour l’accueil chaleureux. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Jenny was so helpful and responsive. We opted to walk to and from the train station at arrival and departure, and had no problem. It is uphill from the train to the unit, but via a wide paved path, so navigating with luggage was okay. The views from every window are unreal. We enjoyed sitting out on the various balconies. Easy walk to the Wengen Männlichen cable car, with various incredible hikes setting off from the top. Would stay here again.

We stayed at this beautiful house with our big family with ages ranging from 7 to 58 and it was an absolute hit with every single one of us. Tatjana was a fabulous host and was super responsive from day 1. Since Wengen is a car free village you need to walk to the house from the train station. The walk is beautiful and the final approach is a bit of a steep climb down a path which could be difficult for certain people but our group enjoyed it. There was a waterfall right next door so you are literally one with nature at this property.The house itself is absolutely gorgeous! It's well stocked with everything you can think of. We stayed here for 7 nights and by the end of it the house felt like home and everyone wanted a chill day just so that we can enjoy the house! Have to give a special shout out to Hans Peter who was an angel that was always ready to help! We ended our 2 week European sojourn with this house and the house itself was a highlight of our trip !

I loved this chalet. It was tastefully decorated, cozy and lots of surrounding glass to enjoy the amazing view. The open layout was conducive to family gathering and the place had everything we needed. The only thing that caught me off guard was the location noted being near a ski lift leading me to believe it was ski in/ski out however the reality was you needed to make a 20 minute walk into town to retrieve your skis from a depot and take a train to the lifts from there. Regardless, even though the walking distance was less than convenient and a shuttle was offered, I absolutely loved the opportunity to start and end my days with the stunning surroundings it offered. We took the shuttle only once preferring to walk even after a long day of skiing and it never felt onerous. If you have physical limitations it might not be ideal but I would otherwise highly recommend this chalet and the location—I would absolutely book this place again. Book your ski rentals at Ski & Set!

Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire dans ce magnifique chalet niché au cœur des montagnes! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été charmé par l'ambiance chaleureuse et le style authentique de la décoration en bois, qui rend le lieu à la fois confortable et accueillant. Le chalet est très bien équipé et les hôtes très sympathique, attentionné et surtout disponibles. Si vous rechercherez un séjour au calme, entouré par la nature, ce chalet est l'endroit parfait. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs inoubliables et recommandons ce lieu sans hésiter !!

Absolutely amazing view out both sides of the cabin with an incredible drive up to it from Interlaken. Beautiful hikes in the area and gorgeous wildflowers in bloom. Cabin was clean and well stocked and perfect for our group of 16 :)

A perfect stay in Grindelwald. Waking up to the unobstructed view of the Eiger North Face was absolutely breathtaking. The view alone made this place unforgettable. The two-story house was spacious, comfortable, and ideal for families of all ages, from children to grandparents. We truly appreciated the privacy and open surroundings—no neighboring buildings blocking the view, just pure alpine beauty. The bus stop was just a short walk away, making it convenient to explore the area. Communication with the host, Andrea, was excellent—she responded quickly and helpfully every time. The only weak point was the long staircase from the entrance to the house. Carrying heavy luggage up those stairs was quite challenging. However, the moment we stepped inside and saw the view from the balcony, all the effort was instantly worth it. We would absolutely love to stay here again if we return to Grindelwald. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic retreat.

We had a fantastic week end in the Chalet, It is extremely peaceful, very typical, and the surroundings are breathtaking ! It is very good for 5 people, plenty of space and all necessary amenities. Paul was a very proactive, kind and careful host !
