Jonathon’s place was absolutely perfect! It was cozy and the perfect place to have a relaxing weekend out of the city. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed bird watching from the deck If in Chéticamp again, I will definitely be staying at Jonathan’s seaside shacks again!

Loved the vibe of the place, the location was excellent. Overlooking the water in the back, every sunrise was worth it.

We had a wonderful time in Cheticamp. John was helpful for suggestions about hiking and restaurants. I would highly recommend his beautiful place.

Joeleens place was a great place to stay for the night. It was very clean, cozy and had everything you needed. It looked exactly like it does in the photos provided. The location was great and convenient. It was on the Main Street and was walking distance to a few restaurants. Just be mindful that it’s a shared building and being on the bottom floor you could hear foot traffic above. But overall we had a great stay ! Thanks for hosting us!!

It was such a cozy apartment. Check in was really smooth and communication was easy. Location is great and views are incredible. Most cafes and restaurants are on the same road and everything was easy to navigate. Joeleen’s suggestions were worth a visit. We had a great time.

Very handy for us to have an accessible place in Cheticamp

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The lake view was a highlight, and we spent many relaxing hours enjoying it. The location was ideal, with easy access to hiking trails which we enjoyed thoroughly. Michael was a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful. We can't wait to return!

Very clean and modern house with everything needed, down to needle and thread. Beds are very comfy, bedrooms spacious. Butter, cooking oil and condiments included, which makes cooking a lot easier when you’re travelling. Highly recommended!

We were a family of 7 adults and 2 children who fit very comfortably into this house with its beautiful location - gorgeous sunrises and sunsets! Loved the patio and the walks to the pond in the back. The chair facing the ocean was bathed in sunlight in the afternoon and very comfortable for a snooze! Melanie was very easy to get a hold of and came over promptly when we needed a small issue resolved (smoke alarm batteries needed changing) Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again!

This was an amazing and beautiful place!! My partner and I really enjoyed our stay!! It was very well layed out,very spacious, very clean, so cozy and relaxing. The game room was really nice and fun playing pool and listening to music. The loft was so nice and cozy. The soaker tub was very nice too and relaxing. On top of that the property had a beautiful ocean view too!! We loved it!! Definitely would love to come back and would recommend this place to anyone!!

I had a group of four families (with young children) stay at both the eagle and the sun house. The houses were very clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for our group and even had multiple unused bedrooms. The view is spectacular from both houses - especially the sun house. The pictures don’t do it justice. There’s no air conditioning in the houses, but we were kept cool by opening the windows and using the many fans that were provided in the rooms. It was fine during our stay, but I could imagine the upstairs rooms may get stuffy if you happen to visit during a particularly warm period. There’s a walk down the hill to the beach on the lake, and the beach is rocky so don’t expect to bring young kids swimming. Even if you’re feeling adventurous you’ll need water shoes to get around. Overall a great experience and a good way for a large group to visit Cape Breton

There are not enough words to say how outstanding the experience was at Caper Landing and with our host Nikki. I don’t know what else could have been provided but a generous basket of gifts including a lobster stuffie and knit swag toque hats for all 10 of us set the scene for all the delights of the place. So many amenities, even fireproof blankets for the fire pit, the spa like bathrooms, the most fully equipped kitchen I had ever seen, all added up to a luxury hotel experience with Airbnb convenience for a large party. Both levels were unbelievably kitted out, with the lower level giving us all we needed in a second gathering space with all the toys including shuffleboard, games, card table and so much more. Two mirrored floors of beds and baths, with two principle suites and two extra full baths meant everyone had privacy and restful retreats. Everything was first class and beyond. We are booking our return for next year! Brava, Nikki, you rock!

The location is perfect for those seeking peace and privacy, with the added bonus of breathtaking ocean views. The host was attentive and ensured that everything was in perfect order, making my stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with a beautiful view, I highly recommend this place!

This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at. The view is beyond stunning, the hosts are always friendly and responsive - and everything you need to have a comfortable stay is in the house. My family and I would love to visit again soon.
