Susan’s Lilly Pilly cottage was perfect for holiday! The place is spotless, ideally located and exactly as described. Communication with the Susan was quick and efficient. She was always prompt and helpful in responding. Highly recommended

absolutely value for money! we were very lucky to be able to stay with our dogs ! the ground s are stunning ,so much room ! very pet friendly! wld highly recommend a stay ! the main bedroom with ensuite was great ! will return one day again for a future stay !

The house is beautiful, functional and a perfect getaway!! Its luxurious furnishings perfectly complimenting the beauty of the river outside, couldn't have asked for a better place to stay the weekend. Great amenities and within a few minutes of driving distance from major shopping centres.

Gorgeous little Queenslander with plenty of space inside. Photos were exactly as what you see. All the mod cons, bells & whistles. Location was close to so many things. Beds were amazingly comfortable (as was the couch). Hosts were super friendly & responded quickly to all of my questions. Only downside was no iron or ironing board.

What a cozy home! Quiet street, easy drive to town center and shops. Bedding was super comfortable and house had all the amenities you’d ever need. Loved the old world charm and Alexis was easy to communicate with and responsive. Highly recommended.

Mel was great, welcoming, available & full of energy. We appreciated the fresh eggs, firewood, all the animals on the property. We had some wet weather, so very much enjoyed being able to make use of the pooltable, bar area, sports room. Our cottage accommodation on the property was more than suitable, with everything required in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom & living area. Thanks Mel.

Got what we paid for, was just a staycay away from home, we also live in Ipswich. House has character as you’d expect from its age.

We had a lovely quiet stay. Easy check in and check out. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful scenery to have a morning cuppa or an evening fire. Perfect place if you want a slow paced, peaceful few days away from everything.

I had an utterly delightful stay at Elderslie. Vanessa was welcoming, interesting and helpful, and had added some lovely, thoughtful touches. I found reading about the history of the charming house absolutely fascinating. The bedroom was large, dark and comfortable, and the lounge a gorgeous, light & airy place for relaxing. I was spoilt for choice with peaceful outdoor reading and eating areas! I think her dog was rather enamoured with my dog, as she’d occasionally visit! A word of caution - the edge of the bathtub is quite high, so anyone who is of short stature or has mobility issues may struggle stepping in/out of the shower. I did find the constant noise from the pool cleaner a bit bothersome, but Vanessa kindly allowed me to turn it off during the night, which was appreciated None of this detracted from the experience that really was so wonderful, an absolute 5 star stay ☺️

My family and I stayed at Jay’s property whilst visiting family in nearby Darra, and wow what a property! All was perfectly clean upon arrival, with beautifully made bedrooms and well stocked bathrooms. The beds were all very comfortable and all double bedrooms offered wardrobe space so we were able to fully unpack. The outside space was fantastic and we used the pool each day. The aircon in each room was effective and fans sufficient overnight to keep the rooms comfortable. The property has a kayak available, along with buoyancy aid, which we thoroughly enjoyed using out on the lake. The area is very residential suburban, but this was not a problem for us as had hired a car anyway, and shops were only a short drive away. Jay was super fast at responding to my messages, could not fault him as a host at all. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and built some great memories at the property. If the situation arises, we would love to come again in the future!

The place was beautiful and the hosts very nice and thoughtful.

Lovely home, beautifully presented. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and spacious. Only faults no clothes pegs to hang laundry out, cheap cutlery and no padding on ironing board. Gardens also need to be more maintained. Small issues that did not affect our stay but just little thing's that could be improved.

What a gorgeous place to stay! The house is full of the Old Queenslander charm, so beautifully detailed, with timber inside and out, coloured glass windows, and hardwood floors. Fans and air conditioning made the inside temperature very comfortable, and there is an outside covered deck to sit on. The kitchen is well equipped, 2 fantastic bathrooms, and beds were very comfortable. Excellent internet. We could not have wished for more.

Dear Aretha and Joe, Thanks for your lovey retreat. We did fully satisfy during the time staying there. Home-like vibes and relaxation were achieved. My son really loved playing with the animals🫏🪿🐓🦢🐎🐐🦚🦚Wifi, kitchen, bathroom, air conditioner, washing machines and the rest were perfect. No words to express our feeling. Thank you!

We camped at Aretha's on our bike ride along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. it was great to have a clean warm shower and our daughter absolutely loved interacting with the animals onsite. Aretha and her husband were wonderful hosts.

The loft is rustic with all the basics. the bed is comfy. It is about the experience of staying somewhere unique. Beautiful property and animals. Super friendly host, doggos and horses. Peaceful and quiet and lots of birdlife. Lovely firepit. Stones throw to Marburg for a pub meal or barista coffee. Lovely country roads to explore. Perfect weekend getaway.

This property is an absolute gem! Unique barn style accommodation was exactly what we were looking for a chilled girls weekend escape. Aretha and Joe were wonderfully helpful and welcoming hosts. The peaceful location was topped off with the braai (South African style bbq grill/fire pit) and meeting their furry family; chickens, miniature pigmy goats, donkeys, pony and cattle. Highly recommend this property for a peaceful getaway or family fun. Thankyou again, we’ll be back!
