Ashley was the perfect host for the perfect location. We weren’t there 5 minutes before we knew that we would be finding a reason to plan a return visit in the near future. We were needing a “home base” for our large family for the weekend, in order to attend a celebration of life and funeral services for my husband’s recently deceased mother. It was a long weekend of obligations, but every member of our family was able to find comfort, refuge, peace & calm …not only within the perfectly accommodated home …but also out on the beautiful, scenic property. It became our “safe space” for a pretty hard weekend. We enjoyed reminiscing with family around the fire pit in the evening and watching deer stroll by as we sipped our coffee on the porch in the morning. Ashley’s hospitality & attention to detail was top notch. There wasn’t anything she didn’t think of & there were even a few generosities (pertaining to the nature of our visit) that we could have never expected. We WILL be back!

We enjoyed our stay, perfect for our family coming from two different states to visit relatives in nearby towns. The house was clean, welcoming, and beds were very comfortable. If the weather would have cooperated during our visit, we would definitely have loved to sit out on the back deck. Would stay again!

We stayed at this home for a relaxing weekend getaway. The House is very interesting. The rooms are each decorated so unique, making for great photo moments. The yard is huge, we enjoyed the fire pit and privacy. The host was very friendly and communicative.

This review was written by Jeff's wife, Tracey. Such a peaceful town, and such a cute well-done home! Amy and Aimee have done an amazing job utilizing the space without overfilling and making it feel cluttered. The upstairs bedroom is HUGE with lots of space for our pups to play. The same with the backyard: plenty of space to throw a ball around for them. The kitchen has plenty of cooking items and any streaming service you could dream of is available. Amy is fantastic with communication, and our stay was worry-free from check-in to checkout. We would have stayed longer (we stayed for 19 days) but there was already another reservation. When Jeff is back in the area again working we definitely will look this home back up for a reservation.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse in Martinton, IL. The home is incredibly spacious and thoughtfully updated, offering both comfort and style. We especially enjoyed the large indoor spaces, and the game area with ping pong and foosball was a big hit! The surrounding property is just as impressive—plenty of room to roam, peaceful walks through the woods, and evenings spent around the fire pit on the hill made for a truly relaxing getaway. Our host, Robert, was fantastic—very responsive and accommodating, especially when we needed to extend our stay. His hospitality made the experience even better. Additionally, we discovered La Potosina, a fantastic Mexican restaurant in nearby Watseka, just a 15-minute drive away. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. It’s a great spot for authentic Mexican cuisine.  We can’t say enough good things about this place and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Maria's home away from home on the river was relaxing and delightful for my sister and I! it was in a quiet and safe area. The house was very clean with everything we needed. I've stayed in several Airbnb and her guidebook was the best. would definitely stay there again!
