An escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life awaits you in our idyllic tupa-sauna on the shore of Muonionjoki. This is my own design, self built. The cozy and traditional log cabin offers a unique vacation in the lap of nature. There is no disturbing city lights or sounds. Enjoy complete silence Enjoy the gentle steams in the wooden sauna and a refreshing swim directly in the river. You can see the northern lights right from the terrace or in bed. In the fall even swim as they flare.

Chalet Mummola

Chalet Mummola offers a peaceful and cozy stay in the heart of Lapland, far from the rush of everyday life. A private campfire shelter in the yard invites you to enjoy atmospheric evenings by the fire while admiring the starry sky, with a bit of luck you may also see the Northern Lights. The surrounding nature offers excellent opportunities for outdoor activities, and guests can rent snowshoes. We also organize experiences such as ice fishing trips, reindeer farm visits, and snowmobile safaris.

Uusi huvila Torniojoen rannalla

10/2024 valmistunut hirsihuvila Tornionjoen yksityisellä rannalla. Parvekkeelta ja terassilta upea ja idyllinen jokinäkymä Ruotsin puolelle. Täällä majoitut rauhassa isommallakin porukalla. Hiihtoladut alkavat vain muutaman sadan metrin päässä. Ylläs ja Rovaniemi noin 100 km päässä. Lähimpään kauppaan reilu 6 km matkaa. Travelpello sivustolta löytyy tietoa alueen yritysten järjestämistä aktiviteeteista. Kuten Ritavaaran laskettelukeskus SoulMate Huskies ja Johkan porotila ja revontuli safarit.

Maison de rêve en Laponie

Oubliez vos soucis dans ce logement spacieux et serein. Maison en bois avec sauna et Spa Nordique en Laponie, 7 minutes de la station de skis de Ritavalkea, ski alpin et ski de fond à partir de décembre jusqu'en Mai. Activités de motoneige et chiens de traîneau disponibles sur le lac juste à côté. Magique pour les aurores boréales. Raquettes de neige offertes dans la maison, jeux pour enfants et adultes. Coin unique pour pêche et canoë, randonnées. A 1h seulement de l'aéroport et du Père Noël.

Karhumökki Karhunkurun pihassa

Tervetuloa viettämään aikaa Karhumökkiin, sopivaan majoitustilaan kahdelle hengelle. Mökki sijaitsee luonnon keskellä, Karhunkurun pihapiirissä. Piha on laaja, joten sinne mahtuu vaikka useampikin auto. Mökin sijainti tarjoaa hyvät puitteet ulkoiluun. Mökiltä on helppo kulkea luontoon. Mökin vierestä kulkee valaistu latu ja latureitti. Mökistä löytyy minikeittiö varusteineen ja pieni WC. Mökissä ei ole suihkua. Suihkussa voi käydä päärakennuksessa. Sauna lämpiää sovittaessa (erillishintaan).

Minikoti maaseudulla järvenrannalla,sauna,wifi

Viihtyisä, kompakti ja ekologinen minikoti sijaitsee järven rannalla aidossa ja tavallisessa pienessä Lapin kylässä. Minikodissa on kaikki mitä tarvitset myös puulämmitteinen sauna, autamme sinua halutessasi saunan lämmityksessä, wifi. Isoista ikkunoista avautuu kaunis näkymä järvelle ja pohjoiselle taivaalle. Tämä mobiili minikoti sopii hyvin myös pitempiaikaiseen vierailuun, joten jo pelkkä majoitus on kokemus aktiviteettien keskellä. Kylpytynnyri lisämaksusta, tällä hetkellä ei käytössä.

Private log cabin in the middle of Finnish nature

Almost a hundred years old log cabin that's been renovated to fit some modern needs. The cabin consists of a large kitchen/living room area and two bedroom which both have beds for two people. Couch in the living room can also be turned into a double bed. There is an indoor dry toilet, also outside toilet. The cabin does have electricity and is equipped with e.g. tv and a microwave. There is both a gas stove and a wood-burning stove. I will bring 50 liters of water in prepared containers.

Modern Holiday House in Lapland

A brand new wooden holiday house isituated in small village 60km from Rovaniemi and 40km from the Swedish border. There is a big lake close to the cottage, pineforest and cross country skiing & hiking possibilities. The house is well equipped and modern. This is a good holiday house for families with children. There are two bedrooms, a balcony for sleeping, living room with one bed, sofas, dining table and kitchen, bathroom and sauna. You will see reindeer sometimes close to the house.

Villa Kaltio: cabin with traditional Finnish sauna

Lapissa Äkäslompolon kylän keskustassa sijaitseva saunallinen pieni vanhan porojen polun varrella oleva mökkimme on oiva kohde yhdelle tai kahdelle hengelle. Mökin saunassa saat nauttia perinteisen puulämmitteisen saunan löylyistä. Kaikki kylän palvelut ovat kävellen tavoitettavissa ja bussit lentokentälle tai juna-asemalle lähtevät parin sadan metrin päästä läheisen hotellin pihalta. Voit myös varata meiltä erikseen aamiaisen, joka tarjoillaan päärakennuksessa. Tervetuloa!

Tiny home under the pine trees ~ near nature,sauna

Majoitu ainutlaatuisessa ympäristössä alpakkatilan yhteydessä pienessä lappilaisessa kylässä. Viihtyisä pieni mobiili mökki, tai oikeastaan minikoti (tiny cabin on wheels) sijaitsee järven rannalla kukkuloiden keskellä noin tunnin ajomatkan päässä Rovaniemeltä. Sopii sinulle, joka haluat tuntea olevasi osa luontoa ja tutustua paikalliseen elämään pienessä mökissä kaikkina vuodenaikoina. Huskysafareita talvella vain 5 minuutin päässä. Napapiiri halkaisee Meltosjärven lävitse.

A cozy and peaceful riverside house by the Tornio River, close to the Arctic Circle. Across the river you’ll see Sweden. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and, on dark nights, the Northern Lights right outside. Perfect for a relaxing getaway or a convenient stop on your way to Lapland or Norway. Great fishing in summer. In winter, Ritavaara Ski Resort is 35 km away and Aavasaksa slopes 28 km away. Distances: Rovaniemi 130 km, Levi 180 km, Ylläs 135 km, Kemi 100 km.

The cabin sits in a tranquil spot by a river above the Arctic Circle, far from streetlights, where the sky is dark and open in every direction — perfect for watching the northern lights. You can wait for the auroras in the comfort of a warm cabin or the riverside sauna, and when they appear, admire them straight from the terrace. Other winter activities, like snowshoeing and husky rides, are also close by and easy to reach.
