We were only there 1 night more would have been better. We ordered lunch at the cafe to eat them and there and a dinner as well as breakfast. Dinner and breakfast was delivered to us in the room. Food was tasty and lot of it. We took a walk round the neighbourhood to stretch our legs after a long drive. The room was spot on and relaxing in the wooded glade. A very welcome shower. Everyone was helpful and Megan gave us advice for our onward route. Very useful due to roadworks with lots of "evil" speed humps to slow traffic (do them at walking pace) and varyable speed limits l was able to journey plan.

De Kat was a pleasant surprise in a little town many just pass through. The ability to deal with issues outside of their control such as power shortages in the country talks to their great hospitality and readiness to assist their visitors. Knowing that my pets are also welcome makes it the perfect place for those with little ones usually not wanted as guests. Great hosts who welcomed us with open arms.
