The property was exactly what we hoped for. We were a 3 generation family from 2 years old to nearly 70 years young. It was very clean, well equipped, very modern and had virtually everything you would need for a short stay. The hot tub was great, and an outdoor shower with shampoo, shower gel etc. was way beyond what we expected, and a very nice touch. The equipment in the kitchen was first class, brilliant fridges, washing machine, dishwasher and hob with plenty of space to prepare meals The property was warm and well furnished and enough bathrooms for all of our needs. The only thing we would have liked is either a tumble drier or clothes airer as with youngsters there is always a need to keep on top of the washing and also on one day the weather was so bad we got soaked and had no where to dry out when we arrived home. If you want a holiday vacation home that is smart, clean and welcoming this could well be the one for you

This place covers all the bases for a great stay for a big family get together! Excellent communications, nice welcome and then all the things to keep three families from ages 3-16 entertained. Private pool great, Games Room great, Hot Tub was spot on and actually hot (unlike so many that aren't)! Sauna probably needs some renovation love. Bedrooms great, enough space. Devonshire Arms nice food, Halfway House nice beer and vibes. All the ingredients for a place to kick back and have some much needed family time. Highly recommend!

Hare cottage was beautiful and Lisa has thought of everything you will need for a relaxing holiday.The cabin is modern,fresh and lovely decor.We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing hot tub and watching the stars in a non light polluted area made it very special indeed.The children loved all the open space ,board games and of course the swinging chair on the decking to read was a bit hit too.Lisa is a great host and is always at the end of a message if you need anything.We would highly recommend the cabin and can't wait to return to see more of the area . 16 of us stayed very comfortably in this beautiful house to celebrate my husbands birthday. It’s an easy walk to the beach. The tram ride was good fun and we walked to Axmouth for lunch. The town is nice with independent shops. Unfortunately the drains were blocked which caused a smell in the house. We contacted the agent who responded quickly and got someone out to sort it. I would definitely recommend this house. It is beautiful, the decor, furniture, soft furnishings, everything was of the highest quality. We were a group of 16 and we were all very comfortable.

booked Dave & Emma's place for my husbands 60th birthday weekend. there was 12 of us, all family with 3 children amongst the group with the youngest being 4 years old. the accommodation had everything you could wish for with the kids and adults alike all making use of the games room, bikes and kayakes. the park and beach were literally opposite the house, so was a great location and the weather was brilliant. we also made use of the hot tub, which was very popular.

We chose a long weekend the week before Easter. The house and the location matched our expectations and needs. Allan’s meet and greet on arrival was a warm welcome and informative. Brook House is a lovely home and we had a great stay. The spacious kitchen, bedrooms downstairs, wood burner and hot tub are real highlights. We enjoyed a BBQ and a Sunday Roast during our stay. The outdoor patio lights work very well to enjoy the garden in the evenings. The house is wonderfully located to explore the south coast and nearby attractions. We enjoyed a walk to the local club for drinks and live music. (Only available Fridays) on the first evening. We did a day trip to Brownsea Island which was fun. Moors Valley Country Park and Forest nearby offers a lot of options for a family Sunday outing. Our only fault was not staying a few more days!

WOW! This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! If you’re staying in Glastonbury but want a peaceful place to stay (which is ten mins from the walk to the Tor) just book it ! The house is absolutely stunning but we spent most of the time in the garden which is out of this world and very private. The hot tub was a huge bonus after a trip into town to relax away from the crowds – Sophie has made her home so welcoming & its perfect for a group. The beds are so comfy and all you can hear is birdsong each morning – its is so gorgeous and tranquil. The location couldn’t have been better – we went into town to eat (Queen of Cups is fab) one night but stayed ‘home’ for the rest of the time. Chalice Well & White Springs also within walking distance (down dirt track). Celebrated my 50th here and from start to finish it was the perfect weekend. Thanks so much Sophie. The Villa was amazing! The hot tub, sauna, and bonfire were great features of the house, which my 7 friends and I enjoyed during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to messages, and ensured we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The only issues we ran into during our stay was that coffee machine was very temperamental, and the skylight in the double room upstairs had no blind so as soon as the sun rose at around 5am it was hard to get back to sleep.

WOW!! - Foxgloves Retreat is a truly magical place. As a family of 3, we have just returned from an Easter break and it was simply unbeatable. We were so well looked after from the minute we booked and arrived. Stella and Trevor were incredibly friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was fantastic. The house is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, exceptionally well maintained and cosy too. Views over the parkland were really special - the colours, the local community enjoying themselves, lots of very happy waggly tails and birdsong. The garden is magnificent - the well manicured plants, colours and wildlife were captivating. Loved the escapism it offered, so private and extensive - great for exploring & hide and seek! The hot tub is huge, the views out were mesmerising and the sauna was a real treat after a busy day spent walking the beautiful and easily accessible coast path. Cannot wait to return in August. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

A perfect place for our family get together. The 2 year old was delighted with toys to play with. The 20 somethings and 30 somethings loved the pool table and the hot tub. The oldies liked the peaceful surroundings and the views. The dogs loved the garden. We all loved the beautiful house, comfortable accommodation and the warmth from the AGA in the kitchen. And a bit of mystery and a secret.....all I will say is Smugglers' Top

Comfort Hill was the perfect spot to celebrate my 35th birthday with my family of 8 - including a baby, an infant, and a dog! The villa has chill vibes, plenty of space, and the owners were super friendly and helpful. Ideal for a big family getaway.

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. It's like nowhere we've stayed before and it's certainly set the bar. The decor and ambience is unmatched. Relaxing in the rocking chairs and hammock felt like something from a movie! Not to mention the tree deck, hot tub and lovely Sheppy's cider 🍻 - perfection x

We stayed a few days for our honeymoon. Our arrival was a bit chaotic as the host was there trying to fit a bbq but they left swiftly enough and we were free to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect, so great to be fully immersed in nature especially with a hot tub too. We really enjoyed being woken by the sunrise each day. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. I would say that the cabin could do with a few personal touches like blankets, washing powder, basic supplies in the fridge upon arrival considering the price range I thought it was unusual for these not to be included. Overall we had such an incredibly special stay and will be back soon. Thanks to the hosts ☺️

This was our third time staying at Torvale and we loved it! The place was easy to find and get into, it was clean and tidy, and we were given some lovely welcome treats to make the holiday extra special. The facilities are fantastic - the hot tub is a particular favourite - and we always love how private and comfortable Torvale is. The hosts are also great - always helpful, easy to contact and very welcoming. Can't recommend enough!

A lovely place to relax at. Owners were great and helpful. Loads of places to go and see around the area. Cabin was nice and spacious. Will defiantly be returning in the future.

was lovely, stayed with my partner for a week and we loved the hot tubs and log burners in the evenings. Great location and I'd highly recommend.
