It is a gem of a property away from the crowded spaces of Bhimtal. A secluded space with really nice views, nestled in the greenery, hills and abundant beautiful horticulture in the vicinity. Property and facilities available are the same as mentioned in the website. We had a very comfortable stay as host was very responsive and always available to our requirements such as local contacts, cabs and recommendations. As the kitchenette facility is there, we also cooked some items ourselves but homemade food with the caretaker was sumptuous and tasty, which came as a pleasant surprise to us. When in Bhimtal/Nainital, you should consider Woodstock residence for a calm and peaceful experience, with an amazing value for money

Ratna’s place truly felt like a home away from home. The view from the balconies was just as amazing as shown in the photos. The bonfire in the courtyard was the cherry on top! It’s a superb staycation spot if you’re around Bhimtal. Ratna made sure we were comfortable, and everything was easy to navigate. We would love to visit again to her beautiful home :)

We the seven members of a family from Jharkhand were on a 6 days trip to Nainital, Rishikesh and Haridwar ex- Delhi. Our 70 years old mother was also with us as well as three children all more than 15 years of age. We wanted a peaceful stay in the serenity of nature. This place in Pangot looked to be best place when I surfed internet. We booked this cottage for one day, they provided two cottages for seven persons. After booking the cottage, Ms Meena told me that one kilo meter trekking will be required to reach the cottage. It was a fun for us but very difficult for my mother. They suggested that they will arrange something like horse etc on payment basis for my mother. We were a little afraid how the things will be managed. But Meena's staffs including their head Aakash were so co-operative and had arranged a horse especially for my mother with three persons to hold her. We reached the cottage safety and the trek was very pleasant. The stay at Fun Villas was like relaxing in nature

We were looking for a place away from crowd, and this property was a perfect place. The views were breathtaking. Every bedroom had a balcony and a separate closet space. The living room was beautiful with ample space to chill. Outside of the living room, there was a huge balcony which again was beautiful with lots of plants, and space to sit and enjoy the view. Parking was available right outside the property. Yogesh, the caretaker, was really nice and helpful to us. He was just a call away whenever needed, and made sure that we felt comfortable. Madalsa, the owner, was really sweet and kept in touch to ensure that we have everything that we needed.

Absolutely loved my stay at this beautiful villa! The place was stunning, and the staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The host was incredibly polite, attentive, and made me feel so welcome. I had such a great experience and would definitely love to stay here again!

Staying at Sojourn with Nyoli was pure magic. Tucked away in the hills, it’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper. The approach was a bit tricky, but the hosts were so proactive and supportive — they guided me through every step, which made arriving feel like being welcomed home. I stayed here with my three dogs — and they were in heaven! The property is genuinely pet-friendly, with plenty of space to roam around, play and explore. We all felt so at ease! One of my favorite parts of the stay was learning that Nyoli means birdsong in Kumaoni — and it’s so fitting. The property was alive with the sound of birds, from morning till evening. The staff were incredible — kind, attentive, and full of stories. The Kumaoni food was a highlight: simple, flavorful, and made with so much love. Every meal felt like it belonged exactly where we were.

This house was truly a slice of paradise! With stunning views, the villa was extremely beautiful and cozy. What made the stay even more special was the incredible hospitality. Mahender and his wife were great caretakers, preparing the most delicious meals. We were treated to some authentic Kumaoni dishes, which were full of flavor and heart! The family welcomed us so warmly, and their cute little daughter absolutely stole our hearts. We spent some amazing family time here — disconnected from the hustle and surrounded by mountains and beauty. We’re already looking forward to returning. Highly, highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind, eat well, and make beautiful memories with their loved ones! :)
