It has a completely equipped kitchenette, comfortable living area, along with a queen-size bed. The guesthouse also includes a washer/dryer off the kitchenette. The guesthouse is a separate dwelling located on a half an acre property which includes the original farmhouse built in 1889 - the guesthouse added in 1920. Westwood, Kansas is 2 miles from the Country Club Plaza.

This tiny loft apartment is located in an old neighborhood with big trees, and just a short walk away from Waldo shops, restaurants and bars. Easy travel to Westport, Country Club Plaza, Crossroads, River Market, Power & Light, and many more super fun KC gems. The apartment is in the space that once was our old garage, so it's attached to our home. You have a separate and private entrance, full bath with an amazing shower, a small kitchen with appliances, and a loft bedroom with ladder access.

1 King Bed. 1 Twin air mattress rollaway (plz req rollaway) Washer/Dryer for your use. Wi-Fi Fiber. Sep. fenced backyard area with Priv. entry into your basemnt area that is located around the back of our main house. Parking space on prop. Dog park, walking trails. Pet fee is charged. Close to highwy, & shopping. We also have Solar panels that provide some back up for the heat/air and refrig. Entire daylight basement is separate from us upstairs with locked door. Does have couple of steps.

Two-Bed - Top Floor - Pet-friendly/Good Parking

Enjoy this bright, spacious, amenity-packed suite just minutes from The Plaza, Westport, Crossroads, and Downtown. This second floor suite has a parking area behind the house. It's best for cars and smaller SUVs, but most trucks and SUVs can get by also. This guest suite on the upper floor offers a king and twin bed, large bathroom, and sitting room with a breakfast nook. Guests are provided special amenities such as a bidet, toaster oven, mini fridge, electric kettle, and ice maker.

Guests enjoy private entry to their accommodation, mini kitchen, shower/bathroom, and laundry, king mattress on a unique built-in bench platform, and a convertible sofa for another guest or two. There is a privacy curtain provided for guests who would like a little separation between the bed and sleeper sofa.

Charming Waldo Reader's Retreat

Sweet little bungalow in the heart of Waldo. Sits at the back of the property, so there is no fenced in yard. We had a new driveway poured in 2025, you’re welcome to use that or park on the street. Main bedroom is on the ground floor with an additional bed upstairs (the stairs are ladder-like, so not suitable for everyone!). We love this little house so much and think you will too.
