The host Mr. Raj was warm and welcoming, ensuring every detail of our stay was just right. The homemade food was fresh, healthy, and delicious, giving us a true taste of the region. A special mention to Coco, the adorable pet dog, who added so much joy to the experience. This homestay is amazing! The room had everything we needed and an incredible view as well. We sat on the balcony and watched the river go by. There is also a place very near where you can bathe in the Ganga. It was a deeply relaxing experience. But what makes this home stay shine is Shiv and his family. We immediately felt at home. Shiv’s wife and daughter are wonderful cooks. We loved every meal. Shiv’s son took us around Uttarkashi Introducing us to the many beautiful temples within the town. It was magical. Shiv helped us organize taxi’s and anything else we needed. Truly a gem!!!

What a lovely find this was. A place where you can just relax and be in direct contact with nature. No honking , no commercial place, just a perfect stay for those looking for some peace. The food, hospitality was just amazing. 10/10 for Anurag, the host and rest of the team.

Our stay at Dopaar by the Brook was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene setting and warm hospitality. The location is a perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty, ideal for families, friends, or solo travelers escaping city life. The room was clean and spacious, with wooden ceilings and walls adding charm. The cozy atmosphere, beautiful dining spaces, and delicious food made our stay delightful. The brook added a soothing soundtrack, and the outdoor seating areas were perfect for relaxing. Special thanks to our host Nikhil, who was incredibly responsive. He promptly arranged an affordable vehicle for us from Dehradun to Chakrata. Kudos to Niresh for picking us up, showing us around, and sharing fascinating stories about the places we visited. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful and safe retreat. A request to all tourists: Please be responsible and do not litter with plastic waste. Respect nature and the local community.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautiful. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, making check-in and communication smooth and easy. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed but still peaceful and quiet at night.I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Jai was very supportive, got back right away on text messages and calls. the place looks like taken from a scene from the Marigold Hotel, rooftop location, lovely views. only the shower in the room itself is rather small, solution: they made another shower in another room available. smooth, charming experience.
