Σε μικρή απόσταση μπορείς να βρεις εστιατόρια, ταβέρνες και καφέ. Το μοναστήρι της Παναγιάς της Πελεκητής είναι σε απόσταση 4χλμ. Η κατοικία είναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένη και με αυτόνομη θέρμανση.
