Spacious and clean. The bed was really comfortable and the temperature. It was easy to control. The view from the windows in the deck was not great, considering the abandon hotel, and the retaining wall in the front yard. but it was very close to town, and easy to get to all the attractions.

The details are so sweet, cotton, waffle weave duvet, scented soap, cotton linens, cream, milk and eggs in the frig. The place is immaculate, new floors feel satiny underfoot. The minimal decor has an ‘Anthropology’ vibe. The kitchen supplies are just enough and don’t seem like drawers full of thrift shop finds. Our favorite experience was the chickens, one jumped in the back of my car as I was packing…second favorite was the kids and dog sounds on the other side of the kitchen wall, never loud, just soft and heartwarming family life next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ‘The Nook’.

Ausgestattet mit einem bequemen King Size Bett und einem Twin Bett bietet das Schlafzimmer zudem genügend Stauraum. In der Wohnküche mit Fernseher befinden sich eine Mikrowelle, ein Kühlschrank, eine Espressokapselmaschine, sowie Geschirr und Besteck. Handtücher und Körperpflegeprodukte stehen im Bad bereit. Das schnelle Internet funktionierte einwandfrei und auf dem Grundstück befindet sich ein Autostellplatz. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und sicher. Restaurants, Supermärkte und Tankstellen befinden sich in der Umgebung. Mit meinem Aufenthalt bin ich sehr zufrieden und kann die Unterkunft ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank Cherie!

Our second time staying at this beautiful property. The place is stunning, and Marcy and Wade are the consummate hosts. You'll be greeted by fresh-baked bread and a kitchenette filled with countless locally made treats. The level of hospitality (and the quality of the accommodations) are far beyond anything we have ever experienced at an AirBNB. Do yourself a favor and book a stay here -- and add on extra days! A spectacular home with wonderful hosts in a beautiful area, it simply can't be beat.

Ben's property is the prefect place to stay of you want to spend some time exploring central Burlington! We could walk everywhere, and there is a great market (and fabulous pizza restaurant) just steps away. The week we visited Burlington was HOT (and humid!), and we appreciate that the apartment had window and room units to allow us to stay cool. The apartment was well-stocked with towels, bathroom essentials, and cooking supplies - and we really appreciated the coffee/tea station, too. Ben was always at the ready to answer our questions and point us in the right direction!

A beautiful country stay, amazing views all in a natural, comfortable, open space! Damaris is a fantastic host, super communicative, and available for any needs.

It was our second time staying there and we love the walkable distance to all in-town restaurants and Mirror Lake. The place is clean and cozy to enjoy with family or friends. The front porch has a nice view of sunsets.

We had a great time over a holiday weekend! The house was close to a few places to get necessities and a few places to eat. It was within a half hour to a few ski areas also, which was the main plan of our trip. The house was beautiful and clean. Thr sauna and hot tub were great features of the home. We got a good amount of snow while there and Julian was quick to keep us updated on having the driveway plowed. The area is beautiful wotha lake view. The house had plenty of space and bathrooms for our two families. Everything was clean and in goof shape when we arrived.

Our group had an all-around incredible experience at this house. The location is unbeatable, the property was beautiful and the hosts were very attentive. I hope to stay here again on my next trip to beautiful Lake Placid!

Wonderful 5 days at Gristmill Springs! When the weather was good for hiking, there were many great options nearby. When the weather was only so-so, the fireplace, well-equipped kitchen, strong WiFi, and comfortable reading chairs provided all I needed. This is a gem of a place and I’m glad to have found it.

A charming getaway at a Vermont farmhouse that can be a base to driving in and around Vermont's great distilleries, creameries and restaurants. Lovely and responsive host.

Had a wonderful long weekend in Lake Placid with two couples, a toddler, and a dog. Our stay was comfortable and the location was great - very walkable to shops, restaurants, and attractions on Main Street. The carport was definitely a plus since it snowed while we were there.

We had an incredible time here! The location was perfect, and everything in the house was exactly what we needed. It was clean, quiet, and super comfortable. Bill ensured we had everything we needed and was easy to communicate with.

This stay was amazing! My family and I were able to relax and get away, and this location provided all of the amenities we could’ve needed or wanted. Ai was very responsive and accommodating the entire stay! Would highly recommend.
