Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

Our group of friends and family really enjoyed staying at this peaceful winter getaway house! We are already talking about coming back up in the summertime. The toys and games made my kids so happy and kept them well-entertained. Perfect amount of space for our big group! Lori was flexible and responsive, a wonderful host! Thank you again 🛷

We love this house! Beautiful spot nestled in in the cove of a private lake. We come back each year for a bowling tournament down the street. The massage chair is crazy good! Very responsive owner and they keep the place super clean. Can’t wait to come back!

Had a great stay right on the lake. The house is maintained and very clean. Thoughtful placement of hooks and linens. We had a great time sitting out on the covered area in back overlooking the water.

Quiet, 6 bedroom lakefront home with sandy beach

We had an amazing time at this BnB. There were 13 of us for a family wedding and everyone was in love with the house and surrounding area. We were catering our sons wedding and the two kitchens made the job so much easier. This was one of the best places we have rented, loved it so much! The firepits were well used and the Northern Lights over the water was just stunning!

The Modern Maine Retreat

The house was beautiful, inside and out. It was clean. The kitchen was stock with all needed to cook a homemade meal. The bedrooms were perfect in size and very cozy. Plenty of places to sleep for a family of 7. The weather was beautiful so I sat out on the back deck for a little bit and the back yard despite it being spring and just the beginnings of being green, was beautiful and peaceful. The whole house was very peaceful and cozy. The owners responded real quick if I had any questions. Would highly recommended and would definitely stay here again if I visit Waterville/Oakland, Maine again.

Pet-Friendly Lakefront A-Frame

I had an absolutely magical stay at Camp Moonbud. It was just me but I could have fit the family. For starters, it’s on a beautiful lake. The house is cozy and lovingly decorated, high-end linens, well stocked kitchen, and spotlessly clean. They didn’t miss a thing. I was the last visitor of the season and the chill was setting in, mist coming up off the lake in the mornings, and the most beautiful evening sunsets. I can imagine what a joy it must be to be here in the height of summer. The camp is located near to great hiking (I hiked), good food (I ate), and not far from Midcoast or Portland. The proprietors – Amy and Dana - are unmatched. They are responsive and warm and engaged Mainers; they picked up a grocery order for me because I was getting in late the first night, left treats for my morning breakfast, and even invited me to join their Sunday morning running gang! Huge bonus. Left Readfield with a couple of new friends! Highly recommend this gem.

We felt very at home. The place is even better than the pictures. Nice walking trails near house. The walk to the dock is a little steep, so walk carefully, especially at night. We are already looking forward to staying with Christopher next year!

Lake-House on water, East Lake, Near Waterville

This is an awesome house on East Pond. Dock, swimming platform, kayaks, paddle boat, fire pit. View of distant mountains from the dock. East Pond is clear and large. We saw several eagles. Osprey and loons are ever present. Mark was a great host with excellent communication. Arrival was quite flexible. Home is comfortable and well equipped.

We had a perfect stay at Jill’s! Beds were so comfy and the place was clean with plenty of natural light. Neighborhood is quiet with some nice roads to go on a walk or run on in the morning. Plenty of room for all of us. It was also within 10 mins of various restaurants and a great ice cream place.

Awesome stay. Owner was very friendly. House was set up great and was very clean, organized and stocked well with essentials. She even left us some fresh goodies from a local bakery. We will be back for another stay in the future.

We cozied in for a couple of days, highlights were playing board games and the hot tub on the deck. Pretty pond just steps away. The heart of the cabin is the back deck.

Elegant Cabin on Great Pond

An absolutely stunning cabin in a beautiful setting. We really appreciated the attention to detail from the lovely artwork, to the thoughtful book collection including children’s books, fully stocked spice rack, to the spare toothbrushes and a welcome basket of local products - we felt welcomed and pampered at this gorgeous lakeside cabin. Michelle was a fantastic host - we experienced a power outage due to a storm and Michele was incredibly responsive and kept us up to date. Our children enjoyed fishing off the private dock and rowing in the wooden boat. A truly tranquil location as autumn leaves fall. We hope to return in the future. This is Airbnb at its very best.

Had a great time at the lake house! Kelly and James were very accommodating and kind from check in to check out. We really enjoyed kayaking and using the hot tub. The weather was a little rainy at times but there is still plenty to do inside with family. We played pool, ping pong, darts, and foosball. We cooked meals on the grill every night. It was really a wonderful vacation!

I was looking for a place to stay in the Rockland Maine Area, and all the Airbnb's around there are just ridiculously priced. For just when you want a place to stay, you're not looking for the fancy fancy fancy. I drove 45 minutes to this place, and it was amazing. The older RV is all renovated with that old-time charming touch still. It was squeaky clean. I even did a little cooking in it, used the fridge. They have Starlink, so you have Wi-Fi, there's a grill. This is the place you want to be if you're just looking for a place to stay. You still want the amenities and you want to be in someplace quiet. Oh, buy the fresh eggs for $5!

Waterfront Cabin with Sunset Views on Great Pond!

My wife and I stayed at the cottage with our two children (10 & 7) and had a great time. We brought our boat which we were able to dock steps away from the cottage. The cottage is updated and everything we needed to be comfortable was supplied. The town is quaint and the Days store is great! We especially enjoyed driving the boat to the store to get out supplies, which we did multiple times a day! Liz was very responsive.
