This place is the perfect balance of comfort and adventure. It feels very safe, the hosts are welcoming and helpful, and the garden and mountains are beautiful. The location is very near the Berea Pinnacles and other hiking areas. The bath house and kitchen house meet every need and more — you can shower, use the toilet, do laundry, cook, brew coffee, read a book upstairs on a window seat… or you can rough it outside in the woods, your choice.

It is always a gift to stay at HomeGrown HideAway's. We feel right at home and so appreciate the fully stocked, well-organized, and very clean community kitchen and eating space. Another wonderful weekend!

Absolutely in love with this campground! We got in super late and even with no signal were able to find our way using their instructions. The property was gorgeous even in the winter, and the sound of the creek made it feel so peaceful. The common building was very clean and even had a handicap shower, as well as a GORGEOUS hand crafted sink. A lot of hard work and beautiful wood went into the building's construction. They had sleeping bags, tents, towels, and portable toilets to rent JIC as well as firewood, toothpaste, and some produce to purchase. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming and even when there was a huge flash flood in the area, they reached out and gave us personalized resources and advice in case we couldn't access the campground. Overall it was a great place to stay with amazing hosts. I will definitely be planning a trip back in the spring!

We did some primitive camping over the weekend and couldn’t have been happier! The farm setting has absolutely stunning views. It was the perfect place to get away and enjoy nature. The amenities were exactly as described and we couldn’t have been happier! This is our new favorite camping spot!

Jessa and her husband have thought of everything. They made my stay incredibly easy, and I will be back! Now that I know that I CAN bring food and cook it (she said so, but did I believe that? nope!)...that they DO have pretty much anything I could need for while I am there...I'm going to go and not worry about being prepared enough. Such a laid-back, lovely experience. I'm so glad I now know about Homegrown Hideaways and the MANY options available!

This is my second year camping at Homegrown Hideaways while vending at the Berea Craft Fest. & This place is simply amazing! Beautiful, quiet camping. An incredible kitchen with all the amenities if you don’t feel like dragging out your own gear in the morning. Bath house is always pristine. Jessa & Nathan are so kind and helpful. And definitely don’t forget to buy some of their delicious farm raised chicken and duck eggs on your way out. They were a hit with the family when I got home!

I stayed one night with my kid. We all tree love it. Frendly people. Clean. Nice views. Peaceful. We will be back.

AMAZING! We decided to break up our drive home from NC to WI with a stay in the Louisville area & came across the Airstream when searching. It was close to absolute perfection for our family of 5. The Airstream itself was super adorable, well appointed, and looked just like the pictures. We had plenty of room. What really made it amazing was the farm! I have a horse lover and a cat lover & in general, all my kids love animals. We were able to have many up-close & personal experiences with the horses & my kids loved playing with the friendly cats & dogs. They were out with the animals in their pajamas right after waking in the morning & didn't want to leave! The hosts were very responsive, helpful, & friendly. The only downfall was the train track next to the property. The weather was beautiful, so we had the windows open & were awoken to the train going by overnight a few times. The kids slept through it though! Overall, it was well worth the experience & memories we made! Thank you!

Absolutely loved my stay!! Beautiful view and super cool space. Loved the 1983 (my birth year) theme. It was the perfect spot and everything I was looking for in a long weekend getaway. Hosts were very helpful and responsive with a few questions I had upon getting settled. I would definitely stay again!

The view was absolutely amazing and the peacefulness was extremely nice. We loved the animals and all of the space to roam plus the fishing pond. Host and everyone we came in contact with was extremely nice.

My friend and I stayed for two nights. On a Friday and Saturday night. The first night we had basically the entire area to ourselves. The 2nd night, someone stayed within about 150 feet from us and had several children with them and being that close to them wasn’t much of an issue at all! I will say if there was someone staying right in the tent directly next to Moonbeam that it may potentially be a little too close for comfort (but I could just be picky). Most everything about the stay was amazing. The host went above and beyond for us and communicated very quickly - almost immediately every time I asked a question. This was a huge plus. The only down sides for me were that the short walking trails nearby were not maintained and that the lake access seemed to be a little underwhelming and not a spot I’d feel safe to get in the water. I would absolutely stay here again!!!

my husband and I loved Shawnas place, the camper was so.cozy, surrounded by beautiful countryside and very peaceful, we could see farm animals, hear the rooster, frogs etc. we loved sitting by the fire with the camper lit up and the string lights outside. slept very well. it's close to some of our favorite hikes. Shawna and Brandon were very responsive and kind. we'll be back!!

Eric went above & beyond for us. Unfortunately the area was riddled with tornadoes & Eric was quick to give us weather warnings, road conditions due to trees being down and even offered us a safe place to go to take cover. He was super accommodating, the camper was very clean, comfortable & peaceful. Plenty of room, a comfy bed, lots of hot water for a great shower after a day on the lake, cold A/C, and all the necessities. Despite conditions that was beyond any humans control, this was a great stay and we would stay again and again - and absolutely plan on it! Beautiful, safe area & the little baby deer that welcomed us back one night was an added bonus. I highly recommend! Thank you, Eric!

We only stayed at The Red for one night but wish we could have been here longer! It was such a cozy spot and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice glamping location in Red River Gorge. We hope to be back soon!

Peaceful and remote location. Such a relaxing experience. By far our favorite Air bnb! Definitely plan to return time and time again!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The camper had everything we needed. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming…they even brought us firewood because we forgot to pick some up. We highly recommend!

My husband and I really enjoyed out overnight at Sarah's glamper! Everything you need to be comfortable is there. Do bring instant coffee if you're huge coffee drinkers like we are. The camper was so cute and was comfortable with a hot shower and comfy bed. We enjoyed our time!!

The camper was exactly what we expected. It was clean, easily accessible and perfect for our one night stay at the Lake.
