It was a pleasure for us to stay at Lenas Place. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who also speak german. The place itself is close to the beach and only 7 minutes from the Robberg Nature Reserve in a secured area. If we would come back to Plett, we would book this apartment again. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wirklich fantastisch! Das sich ständig verändernde Wetter bescherte uns von Sonne bis Nebel, Gewitter, Wind und tollen Sonnenuntergängen ein dramatisches Spektakel. Gefreut haben wir uns auch darüber, dass wir oft Loeries und auch andere Vögel beobachten konnten. Renee füttert sie regelmäßig. Die Wohnung selbst ist ein gemütliches Refugium, in der wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Danke Peter und Renee für eure Gastfreundschaft und auch die netten kurzen Gespräche, die wir miteinander hatten.

Mandy was a friendly host who went out of her way to be helpful with suggestions and even phoned us when we needed the contact details of a local doctor. Her place is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Would highly recommend this place. We had a wonderful stay.

What a wonderful stay! From the 1st communication the checkout, everything was wonderful. We had a family of 14 from 8 years old to 83. The house swallowed us up. Pictures on here don't quite do it justice. A beautiful house that flows from the kitchen to the lounge to the deck to that amazing view right on the beach. It was perfect for our large family get together. We all had enough space to be together but crucially enough to be apart as well. It was very well equipped to cater for all of us. The setting of the house is just fantastic right on the best beach in SA but still walking distance to all that Wilderness has to offer. Finally I have to mention Elzette. My Mother of 83 had a fall just before our trip so was not very mobile. Elzette sent us all the info we needed before the trip and even helped by picking up mobility equipment from George for our arrival. Above and beyond! Any issues were immediately attended to with kindness and efficiency. Highly recommend! Thanks

Watching the tide come in….watching it go out….so relaxing. Super weekend with baby, kids, grandparents and dog. Playing in the lagoon all day and enjoying the quiet splashes of the fish in the evenings. Thanks again Charles and Ryk

What an amazing gem in the centre of Plettenberg Bay. We loved our stay for four nights. Great location, lots of space in the house for privacy and entertaining. Modern kitchen and outdoor area. Well priced considering all the place has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

It was lovely returning to Christa & Josephs home. Joseph is always up for a good conversation & willing to share tips & valuable insights. Our stay was a wonderful escape from the demands of everyday life. Beach view on the terrace and balcony was incredible! House is beautiful and has all the amenities mentioned. Locality is serene with mountain one side and other side with beach. Lot of places to sit around and enjoy as a family. Walkable distance to get to the beach… There were no air conditioners or fan however we didn’t feel the heat as weather was pleasant. There were clear instructions provided by host to reach, collect keys, secure house and submit keys.. Overall it was an amazing experience and would highly recommend this place!!

A huge thank you to Peter and Chery! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The highlight for me was the stunning view from the balcony — both in the morning and at sunset, it was absolutely breathtaking. The place is spotless, fully equipped, and thoughtfully maintained. Nothing was missing in the kitchen or bathroom. I truly enjoyed every moment, and if I come back, I’d love to stay here again without a doubt!

James is a great host and we thoroughly enjoyed his hospitality. The apartment was spacious with a balcony, with ample cooking tools. You can feel the breeze and enjoy the nice view of Pletternberg Bay when residing in James' place. James is also willing to accommodate to our late check-in request, which is very important for travellers in the Garden Route! One minor point to note is that there may be load shedding in the area but James makes sure we got enough candles. Rest assured that you are in good hands if you are residing here :)

The place is so beautiful and neat. A 1000% as seen on the pictures. There is a pristine pool just a walking distance away. The kitchen is fully functional with everything you could possibly need. The security is top tier. A real treat for someone looking for a peaceful stay away from the city. There is also a shopping mall for groceries (Checkers) and (Dischem) a +-2 mins walking distance away

Melanie’s unit in The Dunes estate was absolutely perfect for our weekend away. The estate is peaceful and private and provides access to one of the most spectacular beaches in South Africa. Melanie was an amazing host and responded very quickly to any questions we had. We would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone and would definitely stay again.
