We had a great stay with our adult children. Very close to many amenities and a short drive to the wineries in Wolfville. It was very clean, with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We would return for sure !

This was our second time staying at Jill & Steve's place, and it won't be our last! The space is immaculate and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of living space. The river is beautiful, and the area is quiet. There were a couple of issues during this stay, one of which Jill & Steve warned us about ahead of time (and compensated us for generously), while the other wasn't able to be fixed during our stay, but will no doubt be resolved very quickly. Still, the stay was well worth it, and the hosts were very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this place, and I look forward to our next visit!

Mike's place is in a terrific location and close to all the local attractions. it was clean and spacious and a great value. 5 stars.

My friends I really enjoyed staying at this property for our 20th annual girls retreat a great deal! We all agreed it is a property we would return to. It was private , peaceful, spacious, very clean, lots of natural light, very comfortable beds and the kitchen is fully equipped. Being close to The Flying Apron Inn and Cookery and the amazing bread, pastries, breakfast and bookstore was an added treat we really loved. We also enjoyed the fish and chips we got at The Shore Thing Takeout.

My cousins and I had a great girls weekend! Such a beautiful spot especially being right on the water. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect to visit the surrounding area such as the local Wineries, Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove. At the end of the day, the log home was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a sunset on the lake. We made great memories this week. Thank you for sharing this beautiful log home with us.

We booked this place last minute for a wedding band on a long weekend and Catherine and Daniel were so accommodating letting us house them in this home. They felt so comfortable being in this big, private space with everything so nearby. The place was perfect and could not have asked for better hosts. They highly recommend!!

The property's remote location allowed my six year old son to see many stars, a rare sight for him. We were also impressed by the spectacular ocean view, which was accessible from the comfort of our living room. As a family with an autistic child, we were concerned about whether the property would meet our son's needs, but he had a wonderful time and is already missing the place. The place was prestine and very modern. The bedrooms are spacious and beds are more comfy than home. Everything about the place was perfect including the kitchen which was well stocked with cookware. I would stay at this place again without a doubt.
