Vakantiewoningen met open haard in Kingscote

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno splendido nella casa di Heidi a Vivonne Bay! Il cottage ha un meraviglioso feeling di campagna, perfetto per rilassarsi dopo intense giornate di esplorazione a Kangaroo Island. Il letto era estremamente comodo e sia le lenzuola che gli asciugamani erano di ottima qualità, un dettaglio che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dall’installazione di una toilette ecologica: un’idea intelligente che, dopo il primo momento di sorpresa, ci è sembrata assolutamente sensata e in linea con lo spirito dell'isola. Il look rétro del cottage ha aggiunto un tocco di autenticità che abbiamo trovato molto gradevole. Infine, il silenzio che circonda la casa ha reso possibile un sonno profondo e rigenerante, rendendo il nostro soggiorno ancora più speciale. Grazie Heidi per aver creato un angolo così accogliente!

Our 3 kids loved playing in the magnificent tree so much that they wish we could come back every vacation. Us parents had so much joy looking at the beautiful lagoon and trees surrounded by kangaroos living in peace. The atmosphere is very special and serene.

excellent stay ideally location for the ferry and nearby restaurant and shop. the host quick to respond to messages and clarified detail as I'm disabled and it was important to understand what the access to the property would be like. thanks for a great stay stay we would definitely stay again p

We loved staying at 4 Giles on KI. We stayed four nights and the house was just perfect. The space was great and has everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. It is 5 minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and other delights of Kingscote. A perfect base for exploring the wonderful Kangaroo Island. Christine was very responsive, providing excellent recommendations and check in was super easy.

The most wonderful home! After 6 months of travel, this was the nicest place to stay and relax. Gorgeous view of emu bay. Within minutes we were driving on the beach. The outdoor shower came in handy! So relaxed and luxurious. Great kitchen including kids cutlery and plates which we much appreciated traveling with a 1yo and 3yo. The host was very helpful in providing a high chair. Also the laundry room was well equipped. All felt new and clean. Very nice outdoor area with good bbq. Watching the sunrise and sunset from this property was a treat.

Great location with a fantastic view. Could do with a few upgrades but overall I would have no issues coming back again. Both host excellent service and always answered my questions. The view is the best on the island in my opinion.

'The Nest' is a beautiful place to stay, not only for the stunning views but the amenities and finishes of the place were absolutely gorgeous and luxurious. We felt comfortable immediately. It is a perfect base for a few days of exploring KI while providing the perfect amount of relaxation after some exploring (or even just for a whole day of rest). We'd love to come back in the winter sometime to rug up near the fire with a good coffee from the coffee machine while enjoying more of the view.

The best Airbnb so far!! What a view. A must to book - don’t hesitate. Every morning my daughter and I would watch the family of Blue Wrens forage the garden and count how many frogs we could find in the pond. A place to reconnect with nature and switch off. We didn’t feel the need to leave once our entire stay.

Yael and Robert provided a gorgeous eco retreat on an amazing section of Kangaroo Island. All the local goodies and recommendations given was amazing. Super attentive and responsive throughout our whole stay. The villa was a great location for ‘home base’ to explore the island from. Lots of wildlife can be seen from the villa. Some special treats were a koala only one metre off the ground as well as a kangaroo with its Joey. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed here with the family and enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views across the water and lovely to walk down to the beach. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely bottle of wine on welcome and felt right at home. Fireplace for the colder evenings was also lovely. The 2nd bathroom being located outside meant we didnt use it during the evenings/night but this was not an issue for us.
