Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Our family of 6 enjoyed being in this Holiday park for a whole week. We had the luck to discover a lot of local beauty sites. Furthermore, we visited some Highlands Loch and castles that was amazing. Definitely will be back in future.

We had a wonderful stay at Monkwood House. It suited our everyone from the 86 year old to the one year old in our family. The house is stunning and has everything you need. The pool was great fun. The house is set in gorgeous grounds next to a lovely river. We star gazed at night. The multiple sitting rooms also meant the teenagers could branch out from the adults. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend.

My second stay at this place. Was very impressed the first time. A very relaxing and very tidy place to spend a weekend with family. Very good view of the sea and Alisa Craig island rock. Caroline and Stuart were very helpful and accommodating with my scheduling of the stay. Highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing time at this place with our family and relatives. We were also very lucky to have nice, sunny and warm weather in Scotland which is rare. Hot tub was the plus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

This place was perfect. We had a wonderful stay, and a great quiet home to come back to each night. Getting to say hello to the animals each day was also a treat! Thank you for a great getaway!

It’s as everyone says in these other reviews, Peter is a top tier host. He brought us the key when checking in and immediately you can tell how much love he has for his place. He is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and a joy to communicate with. Now onto the stay, absolutely gorgeous! You can take a beautiful walk along the beach and get to the restaurants/shopping. I also saw dolphins while sitting on the porch one day. The inside is so cute and charming. I felt right at home. Overall I can’t recommend this place enough and I hope to one day stay here again.

Cragowlet was a beautiful stay with big and beautiful rooms. Very specious and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom which is always a big plus. Brian as a host was wonderful! Helpful and ready to give guidence and advice for local activities if we needed it. Cragowlet was beautiful and we definitely want to go back if we're in the area again. Couldn't recommend more! 👌

This place is huge. Fantastic views across the Clyde. It was warm, clean and amazing. We were visiting family and friends in the area and this upper villa fitted our needs perfectly. Marco was available if we needed him and was so accommodating even when there was a small breakage. We will definitely come back to this one as it was stunning and so well maintained and had everything we needed. Thank you Marco

We loved staying in The Wee House. It was perfect - very clean and fresh, cosy, comfortable, warm and what a pretty outlook over the bay! It had everything you need- in fact a home from home. Lovely garden too. We could have happily stayed there for longer. Highly recommend this sweet house to anyone going to Islay. Port Ellen is a great base to explore the island and it also has lovely places to eat out. We had dinner in the SeaSalt Bistro and it was delicious and the staff were great. The sun was shining the whole time we were there-May-so we got to appreciate the picturesque setting at maximum! Thank you Janice for your quick responses to our booking. So glad we managed to get a stay at the Wee House as it is very popular.

Lovely house , kitchen was equipped with everything required. Location was great with fantastic views of Goatfell.

Pictures do not do accomodation justice. Kitchen/living space is phenomenal. We had a great family trip. Close enough to the main estate/facilities yet far enough away that it is very peaceful. Definitely 5 star accommodation and worth the extra £££s.

Thanks so much to Grant for letting us stay. I couldn’t recommend his place enough - a perfect spot for us whilst we investigated Arran. Grant was a great host, going above and beyond to provide a high chair and baby bath for our infant.

I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

We had a fab stay, great location, excellent home from home. The weather was fantastic which enabled us to use the lovely peaceful garden.

My (now) husband and I were looking for somewhere unique to get married, we knew it was going to be a very small wedding and we seen this house on here and just fell in love with it. I messaged Angela and explained about wanting to hold our wedding here and asked if it would be okay, she was extremely quick to respond and allowed us to hold it there. It was pure perfection. I wish we could do it all over again!! The house itself is absolutely amazing. Rooms are huge, we loved having an en suite and being able to use it without having a child wanting us to hurry up as they needed something or wanted in to use it lol. I'd recommend this house to anyone and everyone. We will definitely be back again as it will always hold a very special place in our hearts ♥️

Lovely house, four bedrooms, which suited our all male golfing group. Spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen and a wee welcome pack which was a nice touch.

This house is a home from home on a beautiful island. We actually got married on Gigha during our stay and Nicola went above and beyond to help us gather together anything we might need. It is such a beautiful island and this is a brilliant place to stay. There isn't much accommodation of the island so we felt very grateful to have booked Ceol Mara for our special week.

We had a wonderful stay!! Lynn is an amazing host: very responsive, friendly, kind, and thoughtful. The home is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic view of the loch. There were seven of us (adults) and we were all very comfortable. The garden (yard) is large with soft, mossy grass, which our dogs loved! Helensburgh is not too far and offers nice places to eat (La Barca's) and fun stores for shopping (Tweedies). Highly recommend! 5 stars🌟
