Absolutely loved my stay! The place was super clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated — it felt like a little home away from home. The kitchen had every utensils I needed, which made cooking a breeze. The host was always quick to respond and the service was on point. Honestly, it’s definitely a go-to spot - in a good and clean neighborhood! Highly recommend and would 100% stay again!

I had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay. The place is situated away from the bustle of town and access to the lake just minutes away. I liked exploring the area around the lake and seeing the boats. The restaurant is on the water. The place was secure and I felt at ease. An overall very pleasant stay!

My family really enjoyed their stay. Evans was flexible when we ended up having more guests than we initially expected. Evans’ parents prepared very good food for my family at a fair cost. They were also very kind and accommodating. We shall definitely be recommending Evans’ place and will book again in future.

Had a wonderful stay in Kisumu. The house was exactly what we needed and in a great location. The added guest house in the back is a really helpful option for large families or groups. We didn’t use it this time, but will definitely book again next time we are in the area!

Ericka was a great host. The location is as decribed with easy access to Kisumu CBD and West end mall. Restaraunts neerby. Place was clean and secure. Will definitely come back next time I come to town

Judith is a quick and responsive host. She allowed us to check in early as we arrived at 7am. She was able to approve our extra night reservation because our flight was not until 7p. When we asked about extra water and securing the hardware on our windows she responded immediately. We also learned that we were able to lock our bedroom- which gave us an extra layer of security when leaving the apartment to be tourists. She is in walking distance or tuk-tuk rides of grocery stores, local attractions, and hotel pools. We enjoyed our week- throughly. What a delight.

Martha is amazing, she was extremely helpful especially because I missed some details of our transport to Kisumu, the arrival time were not suitable for my schedules but Martha went extra miles and organised another accommodation for me and my family to stay and shower as we wait for check-in time at our booked accommodation. I will definitely book Martha's place again and highly recommend this place. We would have loved to stay longer but there is always a next time. Thank you Martha and Ruth for making our stay in Kisumu amazing.

A place of comfort, privacy and convenience.

The house has its own compound at the front and is located in a safe gated community in Winam Estate so security is good. Very chilled out and quiet neighbourhood I must say. Easy and convenient access to Kisumu CBD and shopping malls around Kisumu in any direction. Ideally... Home away from home.

It’s a 10/10 and words aren’t enough to describe how amazing our stay was. The place is exactly how it is on the app, easily accessible and very clean. The host is amazing i.e., has great communication skills, adjusted our stay depending on our preferences and also had the best recommendations for our needs. It’s my option 1 go for when one needs some family time away from home.

This flat has a balcony with amazing view across the marsh land towards Dunga, perfect for watching the sunsets and the world go by. This flat is huge, cool and very comfortable. Gloria and her onsite housekeeping service was invaluable, we were looked after so well. Yes there are ants but it's Kenya and they were dealt with promptly ! fabulous place .... We will be back :)

We have had an absolutely wonderful stay. Your home is cozy and comfortable. You were very hands on and responsive to our requests. Thank you for resolving the electricity issue it made our stay feel like home away from home. Emily your house manager is also very nice, extremely helpful,open to requests and she cleaned the house meticulously. Thank you for your understanding regarding booking and for communicating regularly to ensure our comfort. You are definitely a guest favourite 👍so kudos to you. We had an incredible stay at Florence's Airbnb apartment in Kisumu! The host was truly exceptional - warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and at home. The apartment is located in a beautiful, serene neighborhood. We felt welcome, right from the gate. Our caretaker was there to meet us and show us around, and went the extra mile of helping us ferry our luggage. The house was clean, with good amenities. We particularly enjoyed the living room and entertainment center. We hope to be back!

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely home. The room was clean,cozy and exactly as described in the listing. Caroline was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The location was perfect—quiet, safe. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
