Hunting is abundant when in season and offering a variety of game. Great place for rock hounding/ prospecting. Great escape from the city life. 4x4 recommended.

The Lost Butte glamping tent

The Lost Buttes are perfectly remote! The 6 mile drive up our private mountain road leads you to the ultimate glamping experience. 4WD vehicles are required. The canvas wall tent is equipped with a queen bed fully made with bedding and pillows. The back deck looks west for stunning sunset views. Outdoor shower and kitchen has hot water and a 3 burner outdoor stove with a bbq. The smokeless campfire ring (excluding fire season) is situated next to the patio table. Please come enjoy the solitude!

Enjoy nature in our new 10X20 Glamping Tent on a semi-private wooded acre. Relax in the evening by the fire or sip your morning coffee outside, enjoying this mostly shaded area with lots of trees and wildlife (deer, turkeys, squirrels, song birds). Sleep well in a super comfy queen bed with soft sheets and a fluffy comforter. Relax on the plush love seat, cook breakfast inside and sit at the two person table or invite over friends and sit outside with a place setting for 4. Just simply relax.

This site is surrounded by hundreds of acres of BLM public land. If you love hiking and mountain biking, you'll love Walker Mine Campground. There are miles of well maintained trails right along the Sacramento River and the Keswick Reservoir ready to be explored with private trail access close to the campground. Ride or hike up to Shasta Dam and then down to Keswick Dam on a great trail that traverses clear around the reservoir. Serenity and privacy would best describe your stay with us!
