Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. It’s quiet, with a long driveway and close access to everything in the area. Enjoy the large backyard patio to grill or cook a meal inside with our fully equipped kitchen. We also have a laundry room with all the essentials and bathroom stocked with towels and toiletries. We have a desk area, with Alexa and Wi-Fi. And there are also board games for little ones to play. Everything for a relaxing stay is here!

Riverside Manor is a peaceful retreat outside of Houston, just 15 min from NASA and Galveston island. This self enclosed Guest suite has a private entrance, bathroom and kitchenette (no full stove). Exit through the kitchenette straight down to the river, where you can relax around the fire pit, fish in the Bayou or paddle a kayak (or 3). Property is raised up amongst the trees, surrounded by nature and peace. Can sleep 4 but best suited for one couple, families or 3 close friends.

Until there is time-travel, staying in the 1847 Powhatan House may be the next best thing. This is the 3rd oldest house in Galveston and has an amazing, almost unbelievable history. This beautiful Greek Revival style home is located 3 blocks from the beach and close to the Strand. The story of the house is told in a brief documentary on YouTube entitled “The Amazing History of Galveston's 1847 Powhatan House.”
