very happy with the house and Susie was very nice and responsive when needed. we look forward to staying there again in future.

Gail was very flexible with my check-in. Got in later than I intended but she left the lights on (outside & inside) and asked me if I needed anything even though it was late. The suite was so cozy & comfortable plus super clean. I was extremely tired from the long drive but got a good nights sleep - so peaceful and comfy bed. I forgot to bring my own water but she had me covered with plenty of cold water. There were even English muffins, a toaster, with homemade raspberry jam, and butter. Next time I’m back in Durango, I’d love to stay @ 2nd Wind again!

We stayed with Jodi and Walter for 4 nights for our spring break trip. It was so nice to wake up to breakfast each morning. It was clean and surroundings were beautiful

The perfect bed and breakfast. Wonderful hosts, adorable dog, plenty of space in the home to relax, play games, drink coffee, and relax. Our bedroom was spacious and had everything we needed. Totally beats a hotel and paying for breakfast and parking. Our friends chose the hotel and fully regretted it. Book a room at this bed and breakfast! You won’t regret it and you’ll keep coming back! The host couple were fabulous. Super friendly and accommodating.

The couches outside our room were a huge benefit for me as I was sharing a room with two teenagers. it was nice to escape and read without having to go outside. plus the provided breakfast was the cherry on top. highly recommend.

We LOVED LOVED LOVED our stay with Jodi and Walter. The room was huge with a lovely window overlooking the garden and a private bathroom. The place was so well set up, with multiple places to hang out and mingle with the other guests. We enjoyed chatting in the evening and morning with the other travellers and comparing travel notes. Jodi and Walter were great hosts, easy communication and access, local tips and the breakfast was perfect. We only wish we stayed longer than one night! We will definitely be back.

Spectacular. Truly. Pat was a treasure to meet and she went out of her way to make us comfortable. She even provided a vegan breakfast for me! Her suite is nothing as described, it’s 1000 times better :)

Hands down one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at. The old world hospitality made us feel like we were in Europe. Everything from the warm greeting, to the custom soaps, to the welcome plate of cookies and beyond, Walter and Jodi gave us a very memorable stay. We look forward to staying here again. We felt completely at home as soon as we entered Jodi and Walter’s B&B. It felt like staying with lifelong friends. Jodi and Walter were such entertaining and welcoming hosts—we truly enjoyed every moment. Their recommendations were spot on for everything we were interested in, and breakfast was just right. And the bed… wow. I haven’t slept that well in months—it was incredibly comfortable and just what I needed. We’re so grateful for their hospitality and hope our paths cross again
