We absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb- it truly felt like a hidden gem. The house is surrounded by greenery, creating a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. It’s tucked away from everything, which made it feel private and relaxing. Though we didn’t find the lake down the house beautiful as we expected, we enjoyed a BBQ dinner and ended the night in the hot tub. Nice house!

The house was amazing! Just as advertised, comfortable rooms, fun game room, easy access to water. Highly recommend.

We were so comfortable, plenty of space to watch a movie together. Lots of seating inside and out to relax, eat together. Beds were super comfy. House was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials including extra thoughtful travel items in the bathrooms (and I did forget my toothbrush). Grocery store and pharmacy super close. Had so much fun with our granddaughter at the local parks. The deer laying in the front yard, walking down the street and grazing out back were so fun to see. Birds were singing all day. It was so peaceful and quiet. The swim spa was great for a soak after a day out either heated or just to cool off. Our hosts were super kind, quick to respond to questions and provided clear instructions along with fun things to do in the area. House was stocked full of games to enjoy as adults and with kids from toddler to teen. I definitely will not look elsewhere to stay on my next trip out.

The location by the lake was beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Communication with Stephanie was excellent—quick, friendly, and helpful throughout. EVERYTHING is first class, the property, casita, pool, breakfast, the views, I can keep going. But most of all, Roger and Mary, they never make you feel like a visitor and always wanting to make sure that you are comfortable. We enjoyed our staycation here. It’s only a 40 min from our house in Austin but it was a great getaway. We were very comfortable. The design of the villas is really nice (friends came over for a swim and they complimented the space) and we enjoyed the views of Hill Country and the pool from the balconies. The stars were more visible than what we’re used to. We brought our 4 mo old puppy and was easily able to entertain him. There’s lots of open grass and a dog potty area. We really wanted a place where we could teach our dog to swim. But no pets are allowed in the pool. Also the listing says a 9 min walk to the lake, but when asked, the property owners said it’s not walkable and that it is a feature Airbnb automatically puts on the listing. So just be aware if that’s of interest. I was told by someone that you can drive to a beach and swim with your dog close by. The Internet isn’t great. TV shows buffered. But we were able to check email, do a video call n watch streaming movies.

We loved falcons nest. Beautiful property. Looks like the pictures. We were able to get quick responses all weekend. It was a peaceful yet enjoyable birthday weekend. The gate entrance is hard to find from the dark road. And I was a bit bummed to leave out two more of my close friends that couldn't even visit the property during the day (No day guests past the 10 guests permitted to stay.). But I understood the 10 person max guideline and previous issues they've had with too many guests. We'd definitely return.

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

Kathy was an amazing host!!! the house was in incredible condition when we got ther and she was super communicative the whole time! We drove down from OKC and had some car troubles when we arrived and needed to stay extra days, she was very understanding and willing to help us while we figured out our plan to get back home!

Went for a girls trip. Beautiful home! Pictures do not do justice. Plenty of room for the ten of us. Beds were comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great for relaxing. Had a wonderful stay and would book again! Close to the oasis restaurant which is a must visit.

This was the perfect little getaway spot. Cozy cabin, great views and right by the water. Kelly was great with responses when I had questions and made everything very easy. I highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

I believe this might be the 5th time I've stayed at Dragonfly. It never disappoints. Esta is an amazing host. The property is gorgeous. She is always responsive but NEVER intrusive. I highly recommend Dragonfly you won't be disappointed.

We stayed two nights for a girls trip and it was perfect! The outside area was so nice to sit with a glass of wine and the neighborhood is peaceful and very walkable. We would definitely return.

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay at this beautiful, serene cottage. The home was spotless, warm, and inviting—perfectly tucked away with visits from birds and deer that added to the charm. We especially loved the screened-in porch, the cozy outdoor fire pit area, and the massive swim spa. The shaded backyard was a dream, and the secure fence made it perfect for our two small dogs. Everything about the vibe was just right. We’d absolutely love to come back!
