Original log cabin on Whalen Lake. Walk right out your front door to the lake on a level lot just feet from your door. Nice patio to hang out and enjoy the view of the lake. The charcoal grill sits on the patio for cooking your favorite meal and watching the lake at the same time. Also enjoy the great views of the lake around a crackling fire in the firepit. Welcome to Whalen Lake, Our goal is to make you feel at home. There are winter activities abound near Baldwin MI. There is skiing and snowboarding at Caberfae peaks. For fun in the snow with your sled or toboggan try the hills and dunes in Ludington State Park. Big M cross country ski trails offers a 37 mile loop trail system located in the Manistee forest. If winter activities are not your thing and relaxing in a warm cozy cottage is we have you covered. We are looking foward to your stay.

Within walking distance to two restaurants and a convenience store. Also if wanting to venture out, Manistee and Ludington are 32 miles away, Traverse city 60 miles.
