Very quiet location at the end of a cul de sac next to MIU campus and Fairfield loop trail. Ethernet with fast fibre optic internet in all rooms and wifi can be on if needed. The house has minimal EMF pollution and no smart meter. TV has Roku, with Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube Premium included and DVD player. Whole house Alen air purifier with ionizing option. Six filter, reverse osmosis drinking water system. All rooms feature the work of a local award winning photographer Marty Hulsebos.

This cozy yet spacious home is centrally located in Washington just blocks from shopping, dining & coffee on the square or just over 1 mile to the Washington Wellness Park and trailhead of the Kewash Trail. Our home offers two bedrooms and one full bath with laundry. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and sitting area while bedroom 2 can be configured with 1 king or two twin beds allowing flexibility for your stay.

The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. It feels like being in the country even though it is just a few blocks to the town square and similarly close to the university. The local grocery store is two blocks down an elley that feel like a country road. A truly tranquil retreat. Free bicycles make it easy to get around and enjoy the 17 mile bike trail that circles the town.
