The Water Street Lodge is a beautiful space with a stunning view of the Mississippi River. Sitting in the sauna while enjoying the calmness of the partially frozen river in winter was refreshing. The two balconies were nice as well as the porch. The kitchen area was spacious and the coffee area was well stocked with coffee and mugs. Thank you Laura for a wonderful vacation experience.

Our stay was very well organized and had easy directions to follow. We really enjoyed the quiet cabin/lake weekend and will possibly be looking to return in the future, during a warmer month. Darrel was our host and he was very kind and welcoming. Overall a very nice stay.

Worked great for meeting some friends for an Iowa football weekend. Easy check-in, comfortable sleeping, and we had everything we needed. Such a unique place with fun amenities. It was also great to have Club 76 just a short walk away.

The cabin was beyond peaceful and very private! But not far from shopping, and restaurants! Hot tub was clean and very well maintained! Was such an amazing/beautiful getaway!

We have nothing but great praises for this cabin! Very clean the moment we stepped in! Having a bed and bathroom and living area on both levels was terrific. Plenty of games, blankets and towels. Kitchen is small but has everything we needed for our stay. The outside spaces are to die for and the view is hard to beat. You can walk trails around the pond or even canoe on the pond! The views of Dubuque at night are also beautiful. The place was so quiet and relaxing and absolutely perfect for us! We are already planning on coming back! Rob was very responsive and gave us all the information we needed!! Thanks again Rob!

Stayed here while visiting our niece at University of Iowa, Very peaceful and beautiful location, House is well appointed and comfortable. Harshad was very accessible to communicate with. Would recommended this house.

Stayed here for my birthday trip and had a blast! Eating breakfast by the river was such a peaceful experience. All the furniture was very comfortable and we just loved being out by the fire. never had a single issue there! I think it’s definitely worth the price and we made so many amazing memories!💗would absolutely come back again

Cute cabin and beautiful view, close to hiking! Extra bonus of doggy treats in the freezer. Super quiet and secluded. Wonderful firepit outside with computable chairs. Beds cozy. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed to cook. Bathroom very clean! We shared the kitchen with a lot of lady bugs but it’s that time of year so we understood. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here for a family get together and loved it! The most stocked kitchen I have seen in an air bnb; gorgeous location; plenty of room to visit and socialize yet also have your own space; worked for my 94 and 80+year old parents as well as 5 year old niece and the rest of us in between. Jennifer was extremely accommodating and responsive. We had an amazing family weekend get together!!

A delightful retreat. A frames have a special charm and this one definitely stands above the rest. Excellent views & easy to operate gas stove made for cozy couch and reading time. This felt like a well loved home instead of a stale guest residence run by a rental agency, which always makes the experience more personalized. Kent was very communicative and provided plenty of detail about the space and its quirks. Would return again.

We had the BEST time. The cabin and acreage were breathtaking. Our kids had a blast playing, fishing, catching frogs and more. The cabin was small but perfect for our needs, we loved the porch overlooking the view. The kitchen/bathroom are very small (historic property!) but well equipped. Cabin stayed pretty cool even in the heat of the day, but A/C is there if you need it. We would totally visit again! Hosts were very responsive and friendly!

We enjoyed the place! This was a second timer, it was as beautiful as the first time. We truly enjoyed it.

Plenty of space. Good separation of areas if needed. Bathroom on all 3 floors!

Cute cottage, fully stocked. Sharla always has plenty of towels, extra linens and everything you would need. The only suggestion I would have is to change the shower head as the water just comes out in one stream and not spread out. We had to book a last minute stay due to a family emergency and Sharla's other house was not available. This would be good for a family with kids. The bed situation is not ideal for adults who are looking for more comfort in their bed. Thank you Sharla!

The Railway Lodge is such a cute and cozy cabin—perfect for a peaceful weekend in nature! The place had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially loved spending time outside and doing some grilling—it was the perfect way to unwind. The quiet surroundings and scenic setting made it feel like a true escape. The hosts were super responsive and thoughtful. Highly recommend if you're looking for a charming, nature-filled retreat!

We had a great time at Ben's. It's a lovely spot, private, with beautiful woods. No light pollution means gorgeous night skies. You can barely glimpse the nearest neighbor, and won't be able to at all in the summer. The house is super-clean, no clutter, with comfortable furniture. Lots of cozy blankets and great wifi (if you have to work!). It's a great home base for a Grant County visit. Ben was very responsive. One note: all beds are in a loft, so if you have any mobility concerns with steep steps or ladders, this might not be the best choice for you.

Our stay at the cabin was a great time. Andy, took time to talk to us and answered all our questions we had. The deck was fun looking over the pond. We are excited to come back and stay at the bigger cabin.
