I've visited this area to enjoy nature and the small towns many times. Unfortunately, this trip was due to a family emergency. Holly was very helpful and patient as I figured out my arrival/departure schedule. The house and yard, as described, are perfect for senior (or any) dogs. My Frankie is 18, and he and I both were happy there were no stairs to navigate. The yard is perfect. I have stayed in many vacation rental properties over the years. Holly's place made it in my top five list. It is comfortable and so tidy and organized. The description was exact. No surprises. I eat most meals in, and the kitchen had everything I needed and lots of counterspace. My family emergency is a little more manageable now. However I will be in the area for weeks to come. If Holly's space were available, I would rent it for the duration. It's as close to the comforts of my own home as I could hope for while on the road. Excellent house! Outstanding, responsive hosts!

I have stayed here like…a lot of times at this point. I’m often in CLT for work and this is my home base. It’s comfortable, close to everything, safe, quiet, and fully stocked. It’s got everything. Also parking is so easy! Will recommend this spot every time. It’s a gem!

The house was thoughtfully equipped with modern conveniences, making it both comfortable and functional. It truly felt like a home away from home, with cozy spaces to gather, a well-appointed kitchen, and plenty of room for everyone to relax. The owners clearly take pride in the property, and the attention to detail was evident. Whether it was enjoying family meals together, taking in the serenity of the lake, or simply spending quality time, this house offered everything we could ask for. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—centrally located and close to everything we needed. When they say close to ovens auditorium and Bojangles Colosseum, they are not joking. We did not go there, but you could quite literally walk, even though the neighborhood is calm and quiet. This would be a great stay for an event there. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, always quick to answer any questions and make sure we were comfortable. They went above and beyond to accommodate our move and our fur babies, which made a stressful time so much easier. The space was clean, cozy, and as described. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This house was exactly as described and just what my group of friends needed. Lots of space to gather and relax. Loved having coffee in the morning by the big magnolia tree in the backyard. The neighborhood is pretty, quiet, and a 15 drive from the Lovin Life Music Fest we were in town for. Thoughtful, communicative hosts. Thank you, Tabitha and Brent!

The apartment was as described. We needed somewhere we could stay and walk to a local music festival. This location was perfect for that. We parked when we got there and didn’t move the car until check out.

Kristi and Amber are incredible hosts. Not only are they highly communicative, but they do so in a manner that makes you feel as if you are talking to an old friend: comfortable, casual, and caring. The property is located in a cozy, safe neighborhood and so close to the restaurants and new living areas in SouthEnd. We also just loved the mini-oasis located in the fenced in back yard area. We are so fortunate to have been able to even find this gem and for Kristi and Amber’s generous hospitality.

The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-stocked. The king-size bed and furniture were all very comfortable. The unit had a smart TV with YouTube TV and reliable Wi-Fi, which worked well for remote work. The pool area was especially nice and private, surrounded by trees and shrubbery with no close neighbors. The hosts were FANTASTIC-responsive, accommodating, and welcoming. They respected our privacy but were always happy to chat. Jim and his family were all very lovely and interesting folks. Aside from the reason for our visit to the area, getting to know them was the highlight of our stay. We honestly have no complaints about the whole experience.👍🏻👍🏻

Wonderful stay at this beautiful, peaceful property located in a private setting. Loved the space's gorgeous design and amazing views. Enjoyed the pool, horses, and relaxing vibe - wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Suzanne was a wonderful host with great local suggestions - be sure to check out her restaurant for food that is well beyond the substance and value of other area eateries.

We had a great stay! The house was exactly as described and looked exactly like the photos. Close to everywhere we wanted to go and in a cute neighborhood!

We were only there one night but it was just what we needed. Quiet and clean and very comfortable. Robbi was extremely nice and accommodating. She even had such nice touches for our dog from a bone to a bowls already set up with water. We will stay again when in town.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at this charming two-story Airbnb. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and ideal for hosting three generations. The private backyard was perfect for our Easter egg hunt with our 3-year-old. The foosball table, fire pit, and blow-up spa added great fun for everyone. Inside, the attention to detail was clear—smart TVs in every room made it easy to accommodate different viewing tastes, and the well-stocked kitchen was much appreciated. The fold-down couch offered extra cozy sleeping space, especially for snuggles with my toddler. The host was flexible with check-in/check-out and even let us access the utility closet midweek to access the vacuum, #Toddler, which helped a lot. The neighborhood felt “up-and-coming” with some nearby construction that made mornings a little noisy, but it was peaceful at night. It’s not walkable, but close to shops and restaurants by car. Overall, we’d definitely return.

Lisa was a very responsive host and we appreciate that the property is dog friendly! The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items for our stay and the bathrooms were pristine. It's a new home, so everything is spotless and comfortable. The host lives on site, but we barely heard them while we were staying there.

Such a cute place! It was a perfect stay while dropping my son back off at college after spring break. Place is clean and there are portable heaters available, because it gets cold in the mountains. My son and I enjoyed playing darts. I would’ve loved to stay there a few days, but I was only in town for a short bit. The only thing I didn’t like was having to take the garbage down the road after checkout, but I understand that it’s because of the wild animals. Would definitely stay again, and it’s now on my list for favorite places near Boone.

Felt like home with all the amenities. Close to ski slope and also to grocery store. Made sure they put salt on steps so we would not slip.

This was the perfect spot for a relaxing and cozy stay in the mountains with my family of four. The hot tub was the perfect addition to the place. It feels secluded and in the country even with Boone and Blowing Rock being 10 min easy drives in either direction. App Mountain right around the corner and easily accessible, too!

Beautiful stay on the lake. Felt very private and the place was thoughtfully appointed. Really enjoyed our stay!
