I've visited this area to enjoy nature and the small towns many times. Unfortunately, this trip was due to a family emergency. Holly was very helpful and patient as I figured out my arrival/departure schedule. The house and yard, as described, are perfect for senior (or any) dogs. My Frankie is 18, and he and I both were happy there were no stairs to navigate. The yard is perfect. I have stayed in many vacation rental properties over the years. Holly's place made it in my top five list. It is comfortable and so tidy and organized. The description was exact. No surprises. I eat most meals in, and the kitchen had everything I needed and lots of counterspace. My family emergency is a little more manageable now. However I will be in the area for weeks to come. If Holly's space were available, I would rent it for the duration. It's as close to the comforts of my own home as I could hope for while on the road. Excellent house! Outstanding, responsive hosts!

Smithson was very friendly and accommodating. The cottage was very clean and felt like home and relaxing. I highly recommend the cottage for a wonderful visit in Asheville NC. We will definitely be back!!!

If you’re looking for a well-kept, comfortable and peaceful place and property for a family get together, this is a must consider. On top of all the wonderful things Asheville offered being only a few minutes drive, we loved going home to this place and have chill time in the outdoor hot tub. It provided us (even our pup) everything we needed for a restful and fun stay. I highly recommend Anne’s house and won’t hesitate to stay again.

We had a great time visiting Brevard. The home was in a great location near everything. We were able to hike, enjoy waterfalls and shop in Brevard and Hendersonville.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful mountain house in Rutherfordton! The views were stunning, the rooms were cozy and well-designed, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, making everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Lovely home in the Village of Cheshire! Jake is a wonderful host and the house is even better than the pictures. Beautiful neighborhood with walking trails and playground for kids. Enjoyed being able to bring our dog along and the convenience of the fenced backyard. Hope to return one day :)

Kyle’s place was excellent, everyone was comfortable and enjoyed their stay. Even though it’s pretty quiet there and feels “out of the way” it’s close proximity to most of our group functions over the weekend in Black Mountain was nice. Asheville with all it has to offer is easy access as well once you get to the highway. Loved the wooded surroundings and the scenery from the back porches!

Good location for walking into town or driving to nearby places/towns. Clean house which matched the pictures and description. The beds were comfortable and had soft sheets. Kitchen and laundry were stocked with everything you need. Good open floor plan for entertaining. Julie was responsive, professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this house.

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

A wonderful home stocked with all the essentials to make a pleasant stay! Amanda is a great communicator and fabulous host. Pool, hot tub, and ping pong table are amenities packed in an efficient and spacious home. I was thrilled with the kitchen setup, and my family loved having two separate living room spaces. The porch is very nice, and overlooks both the pool and hot tub. Linens are clean. Decorations are minimal and homey. Plenty of space for a family or group to come together. Neighborhood is great and less than 5 minutes to Tanger Outlets, restaurants, grocery and Blue Ridge Parkway. Everything else is an easy 15-20 minutes away, from Biltmore to Downtown Asheville, everything feels like it is at your fingertips. What a great stay, we look forward to coming back when the pool is open!

Wonderful stay at this beautiful, peaceful property located in a private setting. Loved the space's gorgeous design and amazing views. Enjoyed the pool, horses, and relaxing vibe - wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Suzanne was a wonderful host with great local suggestions - be sure to check out her restaurant for food that is well beyond the substance and value of other area eateries.

Wow this place was absolutely amazing the pool and the hot tub were definitely the highlight of the stay but the house was also very homey and clean and it’s was a fun time

Our stay at Josh’s place was fantastic! We arrived at 4am, and he made sure the lights were on and apartment was easily accessible for us. The apartment was clean, with a mini fridge and microwave. He was very responsive to any and all concerns. Josh was very accommodating and provided great local tips. We can’t wait to come back!

Staying with Cheryl was absolutely perfect and I recommend it to everyone, but I would especially recommend it to anyone with a daughter or young woman staying alone who wanted a competent, compassionate woman nearby in case of emergency. Her proximity to the equestrian centers and her ability to be present without being overbearing was perfect and I would not hesitate to let a young woman stay here on her own.

The house was beautiful. It had plenty of room for my family to all spend time together or to hang off by themselves if they wanted. Owners were very successful in preparing the property to make you feel right at home. The layout was great and there were plenty of things to do nearby. You had a real mountain feel with anything you may need a quick drive away. I appreciated how responsive the hosts were. We have family in the area and plan to stay again in the future. Thank you for having us!!

We LOVED our stay at Elizabeth’s! We were two humans plus a dog and found the unit to be very comfortable. There were so many incredibly thoughtful touches that made our stay so lovely. It really did feel like a little home away from home — which was perfect for our little WFA (work from Asheville) adventure. The house is well stocked with everything a traveler could need. And the yard is perfect and secure for any furry travelers. The location is convenient to Asheville and in super close proximity to some great hiking in the Bent Creek forest and around the NC Arboretum. We will absolutely be looking to stay here in the future! This spot is such a gem!

Our stay at Julia's was just what we needed. Great host, very caring and responsive about some unexpected needs while we were there. Close to outlets, blue ridge mt entrance and arbotertum. Loved the ingles grocery nearby. Would absolutely stay again, thanks Julia!

My friends and I rented Rob's place for a week-long reunion after years of not seeing each other in person. The house is large enough to afford everyone space and cozy enough to enhance gathering in the 2 living rooms. We especially enjoyed the private deck. Driving into the city districts was quick (10-15 minutes) and easy. I'd definitely recommend Rob's house for a visit to Asheville, especially if one wants to bring along a canine companion- large fenced yard!

The place was perfect for our family of four. The house had everything we needed and we appreciated the super soft towels and bath rugs! Also, there were towels for the pool/lake, which was really nice. The setting is so peaceful yet there is so much to do within the community. Loved the place and can't wait to go back!

We had a great stay at Carly's place. We enjoyed the proximity to hikes in the Pisgah particularly along the Davison River area. Living room seating was good and there were nice views across the valley. We had a Whip-poor-will serenade us several nights. Sound does carry up the valley so when on the porch road noise was noticeable. The bed (we used the Master bedroom) was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and even a sharp knife! If you plan on cooking some of your own meals, wait to go grocery shopping until after you check in as Carly has thoughtfully provided an Ingles card so you can save some $$. We ate at The Square Root one night and the food was wonderful.

This place was so clean and beautiful especially in person. It was so quiet for me and my boyfriend and my dog loved it also.
