The Greenwood Getaway

Whether you're into fishing, swimming, being cozy near the fire, or watching the stars from your wood-fired hot tub (it takes some work, but we promise it is worth it!), you can find your kind of fun at the Greenwood Getaway. We bought this cabin and renovated it to the way that our family would enjoy it most, and we've loved it so much that we can't help but want to share it with others. Farm Cottage near Steep Rock. Cottage is 7 km (5 min drive) to the village of Steep Rock, and is a paved highway (currently under construction 2024) It's a great area for canoeing, kayaking, and boating on the lake, swimming and photography. Cottage has a deck with a BBQ, and a fire pit and hammocks in the yard. In Winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe on the property. Occasionally you can see the northern lights, generally in Winter. There is now also a sauna for guests.

A great spot for couples or families, we've got everything you need to enjoy your time inside and out, including hot tub + fire pit. The cabin is situated on it's own 1.4 acre lot surrounded by trees to provide lots of privacy. We also offer a bunkhouse during the summer months (June - Sept) if you're looking for more space.
