Tiny houses in Lake Michigan

This place was amazing! My three boys, husband, and dog had such a great peaceful time. There were plenty of things to do in the cabin alone! They have everything fully stocked, including tons of family games, VHS movies to take you back in time, and much more. We loved how peaceful everything was! My kids loved hunting for crawfish, swimming, and riding in the kayaks. It rained almost the entire time until the last night, but honestly, that made it even better and more peaceful. The host was very responsive when we had a little issue with our pup and was extremely helpful and I appreciated that so much. The only thing I would prepare people for is that of course being that secluded/ far out is it well water, which does have a “scent” to it. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect!! Thanks so much for letting us use your home. We would 10000000% recommend.

We completely enjoyed our stay here! Angie was helpful, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Perfect spot to be able to walk around town and still have some privacy. We were a little disappointed the grill wasn’t fixed up to use for the season, but overall we were satisfied with the place.

Great little cabin stay. We mostly wanted to stay in a log cabin because of our son's recent interest in building houses with logs. He seemed to enjoy the simple aspects, of just a simple cabin in the woods. The playground was simple, and he enjoyed it. The best was sitting out by the fire looking up at the stars and reading books with him. We brought chairs but didn't need them. Everything we needed was at the cabin. Great place.

We always enjoy our stay at the Tiny House and will continue to return. Perfect little place in woods, close to Hastings, host, Terry, is friendly and welcoming, stocked with coffee, snacks, wine. ❤️ 😍

We love it there. This was our second time in the cabin, and third time on their properties. The place is so warm and inviting. Extremely private, clean, and had everything in the kitchen to cook with. Can’t wait to go back. Melanie was extremely accommodating, and even allowed us another hour to sleep in. 5 Star all day long!!😀

One of the best places in the area and the most affordable stay for how big of a home it is. It’s a very nice place and I highly recommend staying at it over the hotels

John-Ross and Cara's AirBnB was so cute. They provided very clear instructions on how to get into the AirBnB and I had no issues the entire two nights that I stayed there. It was conveniently located to St. Joseph and South Haven. I would absolutely recommend this AirBnB to anyone who wants to stay in a unique cottage that is close to the lake!

The little cabin was exactly what I envisioned. Quiet and calm with lots of trees.

Matthew was a polite and helpful host. He offered us a grill right off the bat, and then was really flexible about our possibly extending our stay. He followed up with us prior to our stay ending and wished us well. I really enjoyed the house itself. It was conveniently located to gas, fast food, and stores. We were able to find anything we needed close by. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks for everything Matthew!!

Very lovely cabin. Clean and cozy. Very convenient parking. Jill was great with directions and instructions. Proactive. Offered to clear the snow from the driveway after a snowfall. That was very helpful and nice. Easy access to the town and bay. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s place! It was a beautiful house with plenty of space for our group. Not to mention it was a stone’s throw away from the lake! We also had some personal issues that caused us to be a bit behind on checkout, and we appreciated Jennifer and Angela’s understanding.

We had a wonderful visit at this cabin! The hosts were great in answering questions beforehand, and even stopped by upon our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. Plenty of firewood was provided for us to keep a fire going all evening. Very peaceful getaway!

Cabin was beautiful, relaxing, and felt very private. Quick drive from Lake Michigan, Warren Dunes, and town of New Buffalo made for plenty to do and see in the area. Dennis was incredibly friendly and responsive making the whole trip easy start to finish!

Wonderful little rustic cabin! Stayed here with my mom for 2 nights. Very easy to travel to and from manistee/ludington. Love the feeling of rustic camping but with a private toilet and shower.

Very cozy place and great amenities! I will say the water had a strong smell but everything otherwise was so nice! I especially loved the sauna and fire pit to relax and enjoy the view of the lake. Hosts were super friendly and responsive which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this spot to have a peaceful getaway 💕

My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple of nights to go to Mackinac island and lakeshore. We brought our dog along and it was the perfect cabin vibe we were looking for. We had some lovely peaceful mornings able to make breakfast (we brought a hot plate) and coffee (keurig). We were able to have a bonfire and look at the stars too, perfect tranquil camp vibe with string lights on the porch. There was a short path we could walk the dog around the campsite in the mornings that felt safe. Only 15 minutes away from Mackinaw city.
