Krista did a great job with her home. The house was clean and nicely painted and decorated. Its location was very convenient; only a short ride to the city, and great for shopping with many restaurants in the area. Krista was an excellent communicator, and very flexible. She allowed an early check-in, and gave many suggestions for things to do in the area. She was always responsive, and gave a detailed list of how to operate things in the house. Thank you for a nice weekend stay!

The house is in a very nice location in a quiet neighborhood. It’s very well maintained and squeaky clean. The location is very good because you’re not far away from anything. We stayed at the house on a work trip so I didn’t cook much however I did fix my breakfast & the kitchen was equipped with everything I needed. Our host was very responsive and we will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful! The place was clean and inviting. The hosts had provided everything you could possibly imagine, even personal items if you forgot anything. There was so much to do for entertainment both inside and outside the home. We had a great time!

Great cabin by the lake and close to lake access! Clean cabin with all you need for a fishing trip. Great restaurant within 75 yards of the cabin open from breakfast at 7 till 9-10 at night. Great fishing in the area!! Boat parking is a little tight with a 20 ft rig on the back but we made it work by backing in. All in all a great place to stay!!

This is our second stay with Eddie &Gabrielle. Nice home with well thought of extras. Your coffee fix is available if you drink it(we don't) as well as basic supplies. This home was 1/4 mile from our daughter so the location was perfect for us. Most attractions or restaurants were within a 15-20 minute radius at max.

The perfect stay! Beautiful lake, clean and gorgeous house, quiet neighborhood and amazing bang for your buck. We've stayed at a dozen Air B&B's and this was top 3! Plenty of space for our family of 5 (though could have EASILY fit another 3-5 guests). Never felt like we were falling over one another. Great fishing location (though we only caught one fish, haha), calm waters and breathtaking sunrise/sets. About an hour drive from the beach at Charleston (highly suggest Folly Beach). Morgan was responsive when we had questions and was always super kind.

Heather is an amazing host. She made us feel as if we were home. It was so comfortable, and cozy. I would absolutely highly recommend staying here. We will definitely come back, and stay here again. Thank you for everything Heather.

My family had an amazing stay for spring break! The pictures really do not do this place justice. The home’s layout is spacious and the kitchen is stocked with all the necessities. The back porch is huge and looks onto the lake. The private beach area is perfect for laying out and there are plenty of chairs. We used the dock for fishing and were able to rent a pontoon boat that we tied up to the dock for easy access. Audrey was very responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. I would definitely rent this place again!

This Airbnb is the definition of 5 star. The place was extremely clean and had everything that we needed during our stay (quality linens and bedding, appliances, complimentary goodies in the fridge and pantry, smart tvs, etc). Colleen was extremely responsive - I mean extremely. She would respond to us within a couple minutes every time we messaged her and was very friendly and helpful. Both check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. We will definitely be booking through her again if we revisit Charleston!

The Borough’s place was the perfect place to get away for a couple of days. It was an easy drive to Isle of Palms beach. We loved that the place was pet friendly. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

We stayed in Robert’s private guest suite for one night and it was perfect, had everything we needed. The suite was spacious and a great and comfy place to crash before our early morning flight out of Charleston. Would definitely stay again!

Micheal was very quick to respond and the house was very nice. Not far from stuff to do, great places to eat within 20 minutes. The WiFi is pretty slow so it’s hard to do a lot on a computer or phone but it’s not impossible, just something to think about if you need to work at all on vacay. I thought the house was very cute and cozy. Me and my wife had fun!

Matt’s place was just like the listed pictures/description. Very cute space, comfortable beds, well stocked and quiet. Would definitely book this property again!

Perfect location for our visit! Property was very clean and easy to find. Joseph was a great host and provided a lot of proactive helpful communication.

We stayed in the downstairs 2 bedroom unit A. The property is located not too far North from downtown taking approx 20-30 min to walk to the historical district. There is a small convenience store a block away and a very popular bagel / coffee shop right next door. Holey Bagels. This old home has been renovated with pretty colors, the kitchen and bathroom seemed new as well as the decor. As with any old home it has its quirks but it’s part of the Charleston Charm. The amenities provided are really nice, popcorn, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, laundry pods, dishwasher pods to name the basics but the attention to details like, q tips, cotton pads & ear plugs are what sets an airbnb apart and the details are all there at Rutledge Retreat. It is important to note that one of the bedrooms is on the street and can be quite noisy even at night, with the traffic stopping at the red light and the fire trucks going by, the provided earplugs came in handy.

This is the true meaning of hidden gem, very private in a beautiful setting, both inside & outside the home. Highly recommend! The other gem we found close by was the Hampton Plantation State Historic Site. I've been to many plantations, and this one was extraordinary. Small fee to get in, due to State run, with HUGE impact on what life was like in the 1800's. The house is 10,000 sq ft (3 stories) and when repaired, the walls were left uncovered to see how it was built by slaves. The house inspired the actors & directors of the movie "Gone With The Wind", and the live oak in front of the house was saved by George Washington. So much history!

Lovely property, quiet & private. Hugh stopped in the first day to see if I needed anything. Otherwise, I was completely by myself which is what I needed this week! Everything was as described.

Our family loved this cabin AND the tiny home. My teenage daughter had her own little home and she was obsessed! This place was very clean and peaceful. I always bring my own sheets because I am weird with other people’s sheets and I didnt even need them. I slept right in the bed. The host was very friendly. This cabin and tiny home is very well stocked as well. It had everything we needed. I love his labels all over for the lights, it made it easier to figure out what everything was for. So much wildlife!!!!!! We visited Charleston and folly beach mostly. They were amazing. 5 stars! We will be back!

This is a very clean and cozy cabin, on a beautiful piece of property. The porch and deck on the edge of the lake was our favorite. The host communicates everything you will need and are gracious with their time, property, and animals. The location was perfect for us and close to anything we needed. Very unique Airbnb. Can't wait to return someday !

Stopped on our way from MA to Florida. It was great, family was happy with the stay and accommodations. Water pressure in shower was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for an easier and nicer place to crash for the night! Thank you!!
