Tiny houses in Lake Norman

My husband and I loved a short getaway to Tom's place. It was exactly as described. My husband will let me know if he approves of a place we stay or disapproves. He definitely approved of this sweet little place. It was quiet, clean and everything we were looking for. Looking forward to our next stay and Lake Norman Fred & Sherlene Chavis April 2025

James was very helpful and responsive to my questions! The home is adorable and right on the water. Walking distance to kayaks and paddle boards. Very relaxing and peaceful. Would definitely stay again!

I only have good things to say about this place! I worked with Margo (the co-host) on having our engagement photoshoot and she was very friendly and nice about the whole thing! Unfortunately, my fiancé and I weren't able to sleep overnight, however, we loved the place so much that we are so so excited to come back and fully enjoy every ounce of relaxation that this place offers! The hosts were so thoughtful that they even left 4 dog bowls for our 4 dogs SHOULD we have decided to bring them :) we ended up not bringing any, but the thoughtful touch & ease of working with them about the pets and shoot was one of the nicest and easiest I've experienced yet. One small heads up about the eco shared bathroom! It didn't bother us at all, but it seems to literally be a hole deeeep down in the ground with ground limestone (I think) powder to pour into it to cover after yourself. Honestly, I prefer that over any portopotty ever lol. It was SUPER clean. No complaints! Just different:) very eco:)

Shannon was amazing. I rented for the whole month of May so as soon as I got there, she met me and walked me through the whole cabin and answered any question I may have had. The cabin had everything you could ever need in a home. The location was in a safe, beautiful neighborhood and close to everything. Shannon and I were like immediate friends. We discussed our love of nutrition and we even made sourdough together. All around wonderful experience. I would stay again and definitely recommend her place.

This was our first stay in a tiny home and it was everything and even more than we expected! The location is stunning. We walked in late at night to glowing string lights guiding us to our house. Inside, all the lights were dimmed, making it a warm welcome. The inside felt so spacious because of the vaulted ceilings. My son loved his lofted sleeping space. Our primary bedroom also had a vaulted ceiling and an extremely comfortable bed with pristine white sheets, quilted blanket and a luxuriously heavy duvet. We slept so well. In the morning, to be surrounded by trees and green was so soothing. It just felt so good. So peaceful. So relaxing. Jason and Larry are the friendliest and most generous of hosts. We were able to tour the property and see the flower beds, fruit bushes and trees, bee hives, greenhouse, pond, chickens and baby chicks! Really more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience. Thank you to The Whitfield, Jason and Larry! We loved it!

Sooo many good things to say but not enough space :) When we arrived we loved the neighborhood. Very quiet and peaceful. Upon entering Niveditas place, it was extremely clean, very welcoming as if you are entering you're very own apartment or small home. It was very well kept, free of clutter and had everything you would need to enjoy your stay (kitchen utensils, washing machines, hair dryer, comfy sofa, many channels available on the T.V., etc). The small porch in the back was a lovely touch. A great spot to watch the sunset or sunrise with a hot cup of coffee. Nivedita was always responsive, respectful and extremely kind! Thank you once again for your hospitality and good vibes! Can't beat the price for what this place offers. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful tiny home! We were just passing through but would have loved to stay longer. Location was great and the entire place was very clean. We hope to return!

We enjoyed this home & stayed for a few days. It's in a very quiet wooded area with grocery stores & shopping less than 10 minute drives away. Modern appliances and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook your own meals. The air conditioning works really well and there's a dehumidifier! Fast wifi, modern tv's in both bedrooms and the living room. We would definitely stay here again.

This tiny home was such an amazing stay, it was very clean, comfortable and inviting. My husband and I were able to use the Kayaks and go fishing all morning. Really great little tiny house community with so much to do on the property. We really enjoyed every bit of it!

Great location! This house is near everything but sits off the road, closed off by trees and extra land. The mattresses were memory foam, which we loved! The showers were hot with good pressure. There was a Keurig, which is a necessity in our house! Everything was clean, updated, and had beautiful touches of unique decor throughout. The response time was fantastic as well. I have no complaints, whatsoever! Wonderful find!!

Had a terrific stay at David's place. He was excellent on communications, and the place was spotless. 4 star location is a reflection of some road noise, but it did not affect our sleep nor enjoyment. Thanks, David!

This stay was absolutely phenomenal . We loved the peaceful surroundings and the wetlands . I can say I had my first kayak experience in North Carolina. The place was updated and clean . The natural light in the home was delightful . We loved the privacy of the place and hope to stay here again . Brooke was responsive and accommodating . The surrounding town of Belmont is a hidden treasure . If staying check out honey comb cafe you won't be disappointed .

Karen’s home is beautiful! The pictures didn’t compare to how amazing the home looks in person. The back yard is private and has everything you could need in a getaway. The hot tub was great. Karen has offered a lot of options with things to do while you’re at her Airbnb. There is a projector screen on the back patio with multiple chairs to enjoy a movie outside and Karen even offers heated blankets for when it’s cold! All around we loved our stay at carol’s cottage and will definitely be planning to come back. Karen was respectful, reasonable & attentive as our host. I would recommend to anybody to come stay here. It’s worth the trip!

Do not miss the joys this little garden cottage has to offer. The pictures are beautiful and they don’t even do it justice. I’m a new mom and needed a little time to rest and reset. Teri’s garden cottage was the most peaceful place I could have dreamt up- in fact, it feels like a place I had dreamt up when I was a little girl… it is perfectly situated in the heart of the garden, with 360 views of the craftsmanship of a master gardener. Teri and her family went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe so that I could truly rest. Thank you for hosting me. I’m encouraging all of my Charlotte friends to come and stay!

The Kube is a great place to stay. It's very affordable for Charlotte area, nice and private. Jordan is a great host, Pacho his dog too. Highly recommend if you're ever in Charlotte.

This is the only house I stay at while in Charolette. The host is very attentive and house is so welcoming and just perfect in all aspects. Worth every penny.

When you first go into the place you see that it's small but it's really well laid out. Having just moved out of a tiny house a little bigger than this I was very impressed with the layout. Having been and will continue to be a small business owner myself I was proud to give my money to such a nice person with such a great place rather than the Hilton or something. Well done sir!

Wonderful place to stay! Thomas was helpful and responsive. The home was clean and cozy, with nice privacy for being so close to the city. Nice little touches included labeled light switches, waffle bar (we didn’t use, but it looked great!), game cabinet, comfortable beds, and good water pressure in shower. Would stay again and recommended to anyone, especially families (that bedroom off the master area was so nice for a kids space!)
