Cozy retreat is an understatement. This place was great. Exactly as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking to escape from the norm.

Amazing house with so much to do. The house is nicer than even the photos could relay, something not typical of rental properties. We had an amazing long weekend and wish we could have stayed longer.

This place was perfect!! We had 4 families and there was plenty of space. The view of the lake was beautiful and it had so many comforts of home. We will definitely come again. AvantStay was so responsive if we had any questions!

Can’t say enough great things about the property and Matt as a host. We used the property to stay while on a business trip. They were able to accommodate our large crew and their driveway was spacious enough to fit large commercial vehicles. The photos allow customers to see the beautiful property, so I want to highlight how nice it was to have a host that responds almost immediately and is helpful with any question. 15/10 experience!!

Very nice place to stay and I felt right at home. Perfect location to have privacy, but also close enough to pick up anything you may need from town. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wylies retreat. The home was very spacious. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. Overall our stay was a 10/10. Will be returning

Mike’s place was amazing. We were in for a BBQ Festival and everything was perfect for our group. The driveway had plenty of room for all of our grills and vehicles. There was plenty of room for our group. Everything was clean and in order upon arrival. The bathrooms were well stocked. The kitchen was spacious and gave plenty of working counter space. There was also plenty of lighting throughout the house around both sets of stairs. Mike was clear on check in and checkout instructions and we had no issues with either. We will definitely stay again when we’re bringing the group.

We had a great visit and loved the house. There was plenty of space, I loved the extra king suite area that was the perfect spot for a cup of coffee and to read. The house was extremely clean and had everything you needed. Coffee was provided which is always a nice touch, they had a regular coffee maker and one that took k-cups. The mattresses were firm and beds had comfortable sheets and nice down comforters. It was very peaceful and private. I highly recommend staying here.

Christy's property was exactly what we needed for a girls trip to celebrate our friends 40th birthday. Every detail was thoughtful down to snacks for when we first got there to amenities in the bathroom in case we forgot things at home. The property itself was gorgeous and had so many places to hand out and relax. Christy was great to provide clear instructions to help us navigate the property as well. Could definitely see many more trips here in the future!

We had a wonderful stay. Host were very prompt in coming to our rescue when we turned off heat and ciuldnt figure out how to gurn back on... lol! Very appreciative for the opportunity to view your amazing lifestyle. Thank you for accepting pets! The dogs enjoyed the varied smells.

This is a great location if you are going for Lake Norman. There is great boat parking and is close to restaurants and grocery. Highly recommend

My family and I lost our home and everything inside the day before we stayed here. I couldn't express what joy it was to feel safe and clean in such a nice place after the disaster. Thank you for the hospitality and generosity with the thoughtful snacks, coffee, water, and available alcoholic and non-alcoholic wines and ciders. We would absolutely stay here again, as it truly was the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in

This cabin was surprisingly tucked away in a pine grove. The seclusion and unique setting make this a spot I’d love to come back to! Next time, I’ll bring the golf bag…

We loved our stay on the lake. I loved the area. It was a great place to take walks and enjoy the outdoors. Our boys really enjoyed the kayaks. The house was really close to so many places and activities in the Charlotte area.

My daughter’s HS Softball team travelled from Ohio to play in an Easter tournament in Hickory. We didn’t want to stay in a hotel like the team and were lucky to book the cabin for most of the week! We felt very prepared for the drive down the narrow road thanks to detailed messages and pictures that were sent days in advance. Once to the cabin, we didn’t want to leave merely because it was perfect. Had everything we needed and provided a wonderful resting place for fishing (although there were more snags than bites) and porch time reading. Loved how easy it was to get into Hickory and got to experience some amazing restaurants (Olde Hickory Station and Hickory Social) as well as time on The Riverwalk and enjoying Union Square when we weren’t at the fields of Stanford Park. If we ever head south again, this will definitely be a place we’d come back to.

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin. It’s a great location to take day trips and go out for meals. The home was in great condition and had what we needed. Danielle was very responsive. The pontoon boat is an amazing feature to have and we enjoyed taking it out. The hill to get to the lake from the house was quite steep and may be difficult for some people to navigate - just something to be aware of. The actual home / host / experience were all excellent!

Alicia & John were lovely hosts. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. There were extra towels & washcloths for our family of five. Lots of great info in their guest binder. Covered pier was an amazing place to spend mornings & evenings. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

The property location was perfect on the Lake and close to Restaurants and shopping. The host was very helpful with local recommendations and highlights of the area.

The place was better than what is expected. Stayed with 13 & two 17 year olds and they loved it. Had a great time and enjoyed the tour and the history and very, very comfortable accommodations.

We used David’s place as our Spring Break getaway. We really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and fire pit! The house was very clean and the beds, pillows, and comforters were very comfortable! The house is easy to get to with easy access from road, but had great privacy. Great spot to unwind and relax after a full day of activities.

So quiet and relaxing! And the house had everything you would need, the host even let me call her so she could explain the tv/projector! Loved the place!

Samantha was great to work with. Responded to any concerns we had right away and was flexible with planning our stay. Would absolutely use her 8n the future.
