Dinesh and his family are lovely. They are friendly and hospitable. Dinesh is very interesting and great to talk to and hang out with. Long story short, I enjoyed my stay here so much that I came back a few days later when I returned to Kathmandu. Highly recommended! Thanks for everything Dinesh!

This family of father, mother and their 21 year old son are great hosts. They are warm, friendly and interested but respect your privacy. If anything needs repairing, they repair it or have it repaired right away. They offer to clean your room and bathroom more often than they need to be cleaned. The house is in a very quiet area and has a beautiful, green garden with various fruit trees and plants. If asked, they offer valuable information about local resources and events. I was fortunate to have the guestroom with an attached bathroom. Many extra blankets are kept in the room's closet for the times the weather gets cold. Their WIFI was excellent and I was always able to connect my devices in their house. I normally wanted to eat elsewhere where I had eaten for the past 3 decades on previous visits to Nepal. However, 3 times Mrs. Shrestha made me healthy and tasty lunches. I was given hot Nepali milk tea anytime I asked for it. They keep large containers with purified water in their kitchen which I was allowed to access at any time. Since I had an evening flight, they very generously offered me a ride to the airport my last day. They were the most hospitable hosts I have ever had among the various Airbnb guesthouses I have stayed in. When I visit Nepal again I would very much be interested in staying in one of their guestrooms. I would highly recommend these hosts to anyone.

Amazing host! Rina didi and her husband were extremely accommodating, helpful, and so gracious to our friends. The rooms were clean and quiet. Our friends who stayed here were so happy with the way the host treated them.

Such a great, warm and welcoming family. I felt at home, immediately. All was easy and flexible, no matter what time i wanted to leave or come back home. Earlier breakfast and late dinners, according to my own schedule and wishes were always provided and they were delicious 😋. Missing Dhal Bat with Curry and pickled vegetables, already.... The whole house is kept to its cleanest and you can enjoy a western style and modern living, as well as a more traditional one. There is a garden in front of the house which provides the best fruits, from Pomelo, Guave, Passion fruit and all the veggies used for cooking - 100% healthy organic food. My best part though was the hiking days i enjoyed several times with the head of the family. He is very friendly, calm and knows the area best. Best guide in Pharpin! Far from traffic jams, pollution, and the stress of the other part of Kathmandu, which is famous and touristic, Pattan is the place to go for these numerous sites and palaces. Run by a family, this traditional house is particularly warm. Do not hesitate to choose her, Pradeep and his family will do everything to welcome you there, so warmly, and to help you in what you want to do. The rooms are cozy, a terrace(roof top) is accessible to guests and the house is 200 m from all tourist sites. Calm reigns, which is rare in Kathmandu. The place is right in the middle of Thamel. So it is very easy to move around. It is a sixth floor without lift. For me this was ok. Very polite and helpful host.

Raju is a hospitable, communicative, and attentive host. He took great care of me when I got sick and even invited us for an incredible home-cooked meal. The stay was an impeccable value, and everything matched the description perfectly. Highly recommended!

Bhawani's place is a peaceful cave. It's has a huge potential and very convenient location. I loved that the sheets and blankets are clean. Host is very responsive n always ready to help. Restaurant is next door with geest food. Pashupatinath is in walkable distance n grocery stores are around. I loved it.

We have had an amazing stay at Kathmandu Mega Appartement, which is perfectly located with many things to do nearby. Thakur was a great and thoughtful host, making us decide to add a few more nights here after traveling around Nepal.

Thank you so much Taleju Grand Team I enjoyed my stay. The room was so clean and comfortable, with a desk to finish work online and good internet. The location is in Durbar square with a nice rooftop and delicious breakfast provided. Just next door is The Muglan, that had daily lovely life music that ends at 9pm, that you can watch from the rooftop or go and enjoy a delicious meal and a good vibe. Special thanks to Suman who helped me book my bus to Chitwan, to the lovely reception lady, Punam who was always cheerful and supportive and the kitchen team for the delicious breakfast. Highly recommended and I will come again while in Bhaktapur 🙏✨🌞

The landlord Sarita is very friendly and kind, with an angelic smile. She provided a lot of local travel tips and took me to many local activities. She can provide meals at any time, which is just as comfortable as living at home, This is the warmest family hostel I have ever stayed in, Thanks a lot for Sarita did for me. Will stay again when I back from Pokhara .

We had an amazing time at Babu's and Belku's homestay. They welcomed us as part of their family from the first day, offering help and advice with any issues we encountered, organizing trekking (day and week-long), and taking us with them for local festivities. They had great internet, video calls worked very well. The rooms had great views across the mountains next door or the green hill sides of Kirtipur and were exceptionally clean. We spent a lot of time reading and relaxing on one of the balconies or the big sun terrace. Before our trip we were hesitant whether staying with a local family would be too intense but we are so glad we decided to do so. You are free to move in the homestay as if it was your home, engaging with the family as much or as little as you want, but trust us you will look very much forward to participating in the family life, learning how to cook as amazingly as Belku does, learning Nepali with Babu, or just talking about everyday life with them. This is our second time in Nepal and only now we feel like we have experienced it for real. The deep insights into Nepali culture, cuisine, and daily life we got in this homestay you cannot get when staying in Thamel. You can visit Kathmandu with a short taxi ride but we were always glad to escape the busy city to the relaxing green rice fields of Kirtipur. It is not overstated to say our stay was a lifetime experience. We greatly recommend to stay with Babu, Belkin, and Aayush.

We had such a blissful time at Milla Guesthouse - It was our first holiday together as a new family, with our 9 month old son, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The guesthouse is gorgeous, and our lovely room had everything we needed - we particularly enjoyed sitting up on the roof terrace and watching the sun set over the valley. I travel internationally a lot for work and this was the best guesthouse i have ever stayed at. My husband and I also loved chatting with Laxman dai and Sanu aunty, who were so warm and welcoming. They made us feel incredibly comfortable and took so much care playing with our son. We really appreciated it! We can't wait to come back again.
