Staying with Ganga and her family was an absolute pleasure. Very welcoming from the start and always happy to help, I felt at home my entire stay. It was always nice to come back in the evenings and spend time with everyone, but also have time and space to myself to relax. The rooftop is great for this and has nice views over the city. I enjoyed every meal cooked for me and feel fortunate to have tasted some of the best dal bhat in Nepal from Ganga’s kitchen. The location is ideal for anyone spending time at the teaching hospital and it doesn’t take long to get around the city by motorbike. I would definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to Kathmandu!

We enjoyed staying here during our visit to Kathmandu. Mr.Sandeep was always there to help us with anything we needed during our stay, he even provided us with local recommendations. The place was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The huskies were adorable too. The place is nearby some really nice and inexpensive restaurants. We had a great time staying at this place and will definitely recommend it.

This charming, cozy room was located in a gated complex. There is a kitchen and bar located directly on the property that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chef Nir will also be opening a bakery very soon. The location is one block behind the stupa and there is no shortage of restaurants and shopping. Sonam was exceptionally helpful in responding to my questions.

IF YOU’RE READING THIS PLEASE COME STAY HERE! I was fortunate to meet a friend from Norway at a vipassana meditation retreat in America who had been here and told me about it. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and a true gem of Nepal. Kamal, his wife Goma and family instantly welcomed me into their family. I had initially booked for 4 nights not sure what to expect and ended up staying for 12 and I really wanted to stay longer. This place attracts a certain kind of person and I met some beautiful new friends from America and Europe who I really bonded with over the 12 days. From the breathtaking hikes, truly authentic and homegrown meals, intimate meditation/yoga classes every morning and the most peaceful, idyllic atmosphere you could ever dream of, I’m already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future. We had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The property was peaceful, spotless, and located in a beautiful and calm neighborhood. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. What really made our experience exceptional were the hosts, Jamuna and Aakash. They are incredibly friendly, warm, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We rented the property for a wedding ceremony, and Jamuna and Aakash were extremely proactive in helping us organize a religious function and even assisted in arranging catering services. Their support was invaluable and made everything run smoothly. This was more than just a stay—it felt like we were being cared for by family. I wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, and welcoming place to stay. Jamuna and Aakash are truly.
