I cannot recommend this property highly enough! It was a real home from home for me and my family and the surroundings are stunning! The welcome kit provided by Amanda was a lovely gesture and the homemade Victoria sponge was the best cake I’ve ever tasted! You can tell that Amanda and Martin have been doing this a long time - they had everything covered both in terms of facilities and handover knowledge. We are looking to return in the summer when hopefully the weather is a bit kinder to us! Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had a great stay at The Fern with our two dogs. The secure garden with hot tub was very private and the fields on the site were perfect for our dogs to run around. We loved the puzzle box! Having an EV charger on site was a great feature too, that we made good use of. The space downstairs was very generous and well equipped. The bed upstairs was huge and the view from the window across the site was fantastic, especially at sunrise. Nigel was very friendly and responsive, providing lots of local info for things to do. Thank you for a fab stay!

Amazing couldn’t have wished for anything more. Easy check in and check out. Beautiful cabin and hotub with a games room including pool table and darts for free. Would highly recommend staying here.

What a lovely few days at Rose Cottage with our family. Rodalyn was the perfect host, friendly, helpful and accommodating. On arrival we were welcomed with a thoughtful hamper of treats which the kids loved, the private “garden” is HUGE & was great for the children and our dog to explore, we loved the hot tub, outdoor speakers & lights. The full bookshelf and games in the Cottage were great to keep the kids entertained in the evening too. Also, thanks Rodalyn for the walk recommendation which we all enjoyed. Hope to be back again soon.

I can not recommend highly enough. My son and myself stayed for 3 nights, everything was exactly as described. We felt instantly at home. We shall be returning, many thanks for having us in your lovely lodge.

Peaceful, relaxing, removed but not remote, 40 minutes but home but felt like a proper little holiday. There were instructions on how to care for the property so you don't damage anything, and recommendations for places to go / things to see. I'd suggest my own for future visitors, Maxey's Farm Shop. This was a lovely place as a home base for adventures and relaxing afterwards, we will be bearing it in mind for future short breaks.

Lovely little cottage, very clean and private, lots of space and all the amenities you would need. Not too many places to walk to from the cottage, but if you have a car it’s no problem. The tap and run pub is a great pub everyone should check out that is on the doorstep. Also Hanwell vineyard down the road for an enjoyable informative wine tasting experience.

A stunning cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. The build quality, finish and design of the cottage is perfect. The host family who live on the farm are welcoming and lovely. We will definitely be back

a lovely cosy, little cottage for a long weekend away competing my horse at a local equestrian centre. the self check in and check out facilitated late arrival and early departure. It was a lovely and close refuge for us between events. many thanks to kirsty for providing such a clean and comfy cottage

What a wonderful location. Friendly host, quiet and peaceful. We had a fantastic break, lots to look at in the local area and the beautiful Peak District on our doorstep. Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern-day life. Being greeted each afternoon by the chickens was a nice touch too. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to relax and get back to nature. Allan was a marvellous host too, very quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

lovely stay jackie is very friendly! the cottage is sweet, and full of original historic character fitting the village... which is worth exploring then you can snuggle up by the log fire in the cosy living room! the place has all modern appliances & is great for dogs with beautiful enclosed back garden, just watch out for the main road... We'll be back soon. Bonnie loved it :) xXx

The property was what we wanted. A great place to use as a base for seeing friends and family. Our experience was smooth, relaxed and trouble-free. The owners (living next door) were friendly and checked that all was well without being intrusive. Would happily recommend.

Had a great stay at Stoop Cottage. Really appreciated Rachel's thoughtful extra touches. Location was excellent - great local shop, lots of places to eat and drink nearby and fantastic walks for the dog. A very relaxing stay and hope to be back.

Cosy cottage ideally situated, and the fully enclosed garden was a godsend in the unexpected heatwave.

A cute and comfortable cottage in an interesting village. Everything you need in the cottage plus a few extra treats! Lovely dog walks from the door, a lovely Sunday lunch in the Bluebell and a very friendly welcome at the Yew Tree Inn for drinks.. the old station is interesting and worth a visit, good café, very nice cake!

Lovely cottage. Probably the cleanest I have stayed in. Very comfortable with a great sized tv and good internet access- nice to have Netflix aswell. Very quiet and within walking distance of 3 pubs. Definitely will return.

A wonderful place to relax and travel to surrounding areas. Ideal size for a couple with guests. Cozy living room with a nice stove to warm you when chilly. Great kitchen space for preparing meals and doing laundry. Slept like a baby every night. The cottage met all our needs, and we had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to relax and travel in the Derbyshire area.

Fiona is a great host. The house is lovely, spacious and super clean. The bedrooms all have good size en suites which is great. Kitchen has a very cool feature which is a must see.. I won't spoil that surprise! Although on a train crossing, it is not disturbing, rater it is a unique setting.

This is a great place to stay, Louise is a fabulous host, we have stayed here before and would definitely stay again, would recommend.

We have just retuned from a lovely stay in Tansley. The cottage was perfect, exactly what we were looking for. It’s very clean and cosy, with a huge bed in the main bedroom! We are a family of four, having a short break during the Easter holidays. The location of the cottage is perfect for lots of local sightseeing and walks. And the two pubs within a short walking distance were amazing! Communication was great at all times. Very helpful with ideas of where to visit within the local area. I would highly recommend and would visit again.

Absolut tolle Unterkunft mit wunderschönem Garten in sehr schöner Lage. Die Ferienwohnung ist praktisch aber sehr stylisch eingerichtet und man findet alles, was man jemals benötigen könnte. Es hat uns dort sehr sehr gut gefallen. Elisabeth ist supernett und jederzeit erreichbar und hatte jederzeit tolle Tipps für jede Eventualität auf Lager.

Such a relaxing cottage, a hidden gem, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside having coffee and reading in the garden and is probably one of the best views we've had, so relaxing, just a pity we couldn't stay longer. We visited Bolsover Castle, Creswell Crags and the Welbeck Estate. We had a fabulous meal at the Elm Tree pub, 5 minutes away
