Awesome spot just away from the promenade. Safe area and easy to get to. We used it as a base for the Blackpool marathon and was perfect for all we needed 👍🏻

Great last minute break away. In a great spot easy to walk into town and the lake. The living space is beautiful and plenty of room for all of us. Overall a lovely home to stay in

Absolutely loved my stay; I’ve been coming to the Lakes for over 20 years and this place is the ultimate cosy retreat, just what you want to come back to after a long day out walking. The property has everything you need and is very dog friendly; I always come armed with blankets and towels but it makes it so much easier not having to worry about carpets and the coat stand came in very handy for drying things. The location is great; I arrived much later than planned in the dark and found it no problem. It feels very peaceful and private but Windermere high street is within walking distance. I will definitely be back again, thank you for a great stay!

What a lovely house! Stayed here with some friends for the weekend and had such a lovely time. Super comfortable beds and lovely little living room and garden to hang out in. It was so great to stay in an Airbnb and the essentials there for you like milk, butter, even crumpets which was ace! Had a great weekend here and would deffo stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home in Lytham, using it as a base for a dance competition. The house is beautiful, full of thoughtful touches and attention to detail. The area itself is just as charming and we only wish we had stayed longer! Mark was a fantastic host—great communication and full of local knowledge. Would highly recommend this little gem. Safe to say, we’ll definitely be returning.

We had a great stay at this property! Gerard was lovely and extremely responsive. He provided clear instructions beforehand for how to find the property as it varied slightly from the postcode. We went to the Lake District and this was perfect location which was not too far to drive there

We spent 5 nights here at the end of March and start of April 2025. We were really fortunate with the weather and took full advantage of the wonderful location: scaling Slight Side and Scafell on one day, riding to Coniston via the bridleway on another and 'bagging' most of the Coniston fells on another day via Wrynose Pass. We ate in on a couple of nights and also went to the Wainwright's for some pub grub, as well as Stoves for their evening menu. Simon and Belinda's place is very well situated in Great Langdale for all kinds of walks and rides, food and decent pints. The house itself is a lovely place to return to in the evening with easy parking outside for our van and once inside, everything is spotless, well equipped and cosy. We really appreciated all the helpful information on bike routes and walking routes and spent the late evenings by the fire pouring over the Wainwright books planning the next day's adventures. 100% recommended.

Our stay was really perfect and exact what we needed, the room, cleanliness, layout, enclosed garden, everything with our accommodation was amazing and looked exactly as advertised if not nicer. The bar and restaurant was great for us, we had drinks on numerous occasions and snacks and last night we ordered a takeout which is a good idea and made it so we could make the most of the cabin. We went on walks and the grounds were great, we seen the pool also which looked like a great asset for the summer, the animals we seen were also beautiful. It feels like we have found a gem, we often go Center Parcs and it reminded us of that on a much smaller scale. Would definitely go again.

Denise was extremely helpful and approachable. She took the time to send a few messages to ensure we were clear on check in. Denise welcomed us and showed us to the lodge. The lodge was super clean, well equipped and Denise even supplied the basic condiments, tea, coffee, juice, milk with some welcome biscuits thrown in! The lodge was also dog friendly. The kids loved their bed room and we were all very comfortable. We had a great stay and the lodge more than met our needs. We plan to return.

A really lovely cabin with everything you need for enjoying a few days in the Lakes. We loved the location, very close to Ambleside and not far from Grasmere and Windermere for shops. Loads of nice trails available as soon as you leave the estate. We stayed with two kids and it was perfect, would love to visit again!

really lovely place to stay in the Lake District. The accommodation is modern, clean and reasonably spacious (it can sleep 5 but dining table is small and can only fit 4). But the bedrooms are nice with super comfortable beds, and both bathrooms are right next to each bedroom, which is really handy . The kitchen is well equipped with a washer/dryer too which we didn't use but great to know it's there for the future. Only improvements I could suggest is to include a coffee machine ( which every Airbnb property we've stayed at has had and are cheap but great for guests who enjoy a decent coffee in the morning), and for the TV to have terrestrial channels. It was a smart TV so it was great being able to connect our Netflix account to, but this and catch-up was all that was available. These are minor points as neither would stop us returning. Louise and team were very responsive to our queries which was great. We'll definitely return soon and can recommend this place.

This property was beautiful, and as described. I would go as far as saying it exceeded our expectations. It felt like a home from home. We visited with our dog and a lovely touch was the dog basket with blankets, towels and treats. It was spotlessly clean and had all the little things that you seem to forget when going away for a few days (salt, pepper, cleaning products). The host was very attentive and sent us so much information beforehand (where to visit, eat, local shops etc.) The property was situated in a quiet area with a little pond opposite us, it was lovely to see the ducks plodding along throughout the day. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants a few days relaxation, sight seeing and peace and quiet to give this property a go!

Absolutely stunning cottage and great pool and jacuzzi! A stunning peaceful location with great local pub and amazing walks and things to do (but you may need to travel a bit like we did to see the fantastic surrounding area) Highly recommended to others and we will be returning. My husband and I stayed at Tethera for the long Easter weekend and we loved the cottage. It had everything we needed. Emma really has thought of everything and more. From a binder full of helpful information, well stocked kitchen with some welcome goodies, cozy living room, perfectly fluffy linen to towels for our dog, Yoda. The shower has great water pressure too! We live in London and really liked how peaceful and private it was. Yoda loved all the new scents and the animals around too! We locked ourselves out one day and Emma responded within minutes. We loved the fresh eggs her hens lay and got some back home as well. I would recommend the place to everyone. It’s spotless, extremely comfortable and perfectly placed for all the nice hikes and pretty towns of Lake District to be easily accessible. Perfect cottage with an equally perfect host.

Great little flat, with lots of charecter. Easy to find and park. Loved the shop idea, we were eating buffet at a party later that night so did not want a big tea, we thought lets get settled at the flat then nip for food, well we did not have to as Alison had supplied us with lots of freebies plus a well stocked freezer and cupboard with food to buy, a little shop in the flat, amazing idea. Will Definitely stay again

I don't go away very often and made the decision to use an air b and b for the first time.Myself and a work colleague had to attend a conference in Blackpool and wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing after a long day. The accommodation was excellent and there was nothing more we could have wanted in the property. The correspondence from Samantha was quick and clear before,during and after. I recommend anyone who needs to visit this area to give this accommodation a good look

Another last minute booking whilst on the road. Sue responded immediately and all of her directions were crystal clear. Sue even left a few things in the fridge to help me out which was appreciated. Great place, private parking with virtually an onsite security guard! If I’m ever in the area again will be sure to book!

Windermere Cottage was a perfect spot for exploring the lakes. Plenty of space for 5 adults and a dog with 3 bedrooms all en-suite. A 2 minute walk into Windermere and lots of food and cafe options along with a Co-op, Boots and WHSmiths along with lots of lovely local shops and cafes. The cottage was easy to find, pristine and great facilities. Alison was timely in communication and offered some friendly advice on places to eat as well as providing a lovely bottle of wine and chocolate biscuits on our arrival. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would highly recommend.

A perfect family cottage and photos don't do it justice, it was really really nice!! Perfect location with fantastic views it doesn't feel like you're 15 minutes away from the madness of Blackpool. We'll return in the future 100%.

We had a lovely one night stay. Room was very comfortable and a beautiful garden to sit in and for dogs to play in. Instructions to get in extremely clear and great communication with host. Lovely village and plenty of places to eat or have a drink. If in the future we are back over here would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your lovely home😀 🏡

Yardi and her husband are both brilliant hosts with beautiful souls. The communication was A1 even having arrived late (on my part). I was greeted by Yardi and her husband and given instructions on how to operate the hot tub. The location is a 1 minute drive to Tesco extra and 7 minutes to the promenade. The cabin itself is situated on a farm with a well kept field for your dog to roam freely. The cabin comes with all the extras such as bread, milk, seasonings, jams and butter. I couldn’t have been better looked after! I felt very safe and secure and enjoyed my privacy whilst there. Gutted that I didn’t stop to say goodbye before leaving however Yardi gave me a call to ensure that I had enjoyed my stay - something not all hosts take the time to do. All in all, you cannot go wrong when booking this place. It’s a haven away from the hustle and bustle and with beautiful attention to detail throughout. Thank you, Yardi 🩵 🐾🌞!
