Also about 11 miles from Grayson Highlands park where the mountain ponies run free. 13 miles from West Jefferson for shopping, hiking, etc. Or stay here in the hammock while the kids play in the creek which is a stone’s throw from the front porch. Greystone Cottage is newly renovated, dog-friendly, and a 5 min walk to restaurants/shopping in the historic town of West Jefferson. The cottage has a mountain view, large gated porch, hot tub, gas grill, and fire pit with edison lights illuminating the outdoor area at night. The cottage is equipped with keyless entry, fiber optic high speed internet, smart TVs, washer and dryer, mini-split A/C and heat, and a fully functional kitchen. The two bedrooms have Sealy memory foam mattresses (Queen).

The Hobbit House

The Hobbit House is a tiny house (15x11'); Full size bed, futon/couch, outdoor tub, shower, electric fireplace, patio, picnic table, fire ring, and outhouse with composting toilet. The patio overlooks a pond and is part of a 53 acre forested property in the Blue Ridge. WiFi is now included. Glamp in style! The main lodge is just up the driveway if you need to contact the host. The outdoor shower/tub is NOT fully enclosed or private, and may be turned off in a freeze. Nature lovers only!
