Cafe lights in the trees, fire pit, corn hole. 1 bdrm w king full bath downstairs. 1 bdrm w king, bdrm with queen and dbl bed full bath upstairs. Game rm w futon, pool table, TV, bar stools, laundry, dining seats 8. This cabin is decorated perfectly.

Hiker's Retreat Cabin

Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

This vintage and peaceful cabin is the perfect place to unplug from the craziness of the world and reconnect with yourself, your loved ones, and the life you were meant to live. Science now confirms what the "Ancients" have always known, time in nature is essential to our health and well being. This cabin has 3 bedrooms (queen, 2 twins, 2 twins,) and a parlor with sofa bed (queen). There is also a roll-away twin bed. And two full bathrooms, one with a tub.

When Tent Camping is just too exhausting

Basic mini-cabins are a step up from tents - basic shelter w/screened windows (no glass) and a screen door. These get cold at night like a tent. This cabin we call "Definitely Not the Ritz" features 3 beds with only a bottom sheet that sleep 4. There's a small nightstand a couple chairs, that's it. This is *almost roughing it*, but we won't spoil your stories if you tell your friends you actually were roughing it. Sleeping bags/blankets, towels/other toiletries are guest's responsibility.

This creekside Cabin (300sqft) escape is a STUDIO nestled in the forest but with all the city amenities. Complete with a queen bed and a full size bed in an upper loft (wrought iron ladder access, see photos to confirm able to climb it! This is NOT the primary bed.) You can enjoy the seasonal heated swimming pool at Sierra Sky Lodge. Hiking, lake swimming and exploring is a beautiful 20 minute drive to the Gold Lakes Basin area. 5 Fantastic golf courses are just 15-30 minutes away. So much to do in our rural area and come back to our peaceful hideaway.
