Maria is a gracious host & went beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We liked it so much that we booked it twoce :) She is prompt in her response. Was always available to help out when we needed. The place is really tidy & well kept. Special mention for her kitchen staff, would recommend the chicken curry & mutton! Thank you Maria!! Will visit again when in Siliguri!

It was one of our best experience staying there.What made it more special was the beautiful couple-kaushallya Aunty and her husband. They made us feel like home ensuring everything was available to us during our stay. The beautiful couple also guided us with kurseong sightseeing,making it easier for us to cover the locations in two days.We felt like home. Will definitely miss those home made meals by kaushallya Aunty.Our stay was exceptional and worth remembering.

I had a truly great time,the locality is very nice and safe!! Also there is a possibility of having a great meals at your stay and the prize is also good.There is a manager in the villa so if you need anything she is helpful and such a nice lady. I would recommend this in Siliguri.

The rooms were impeccably maintained—clean, cozy, and filled with charm. The aesthetic was spot-on: minimal yet warm, with lovely personal touches throughout. Swagata and her family were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the most memorable parts of our stay was waking up to the soothing sounds of birds chirping outside, and her beautiful terrace garden—such a peaceful and refreshing way to start the day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and tastefully designed stay at Siliguri.

Greystone farmhouse is a great stay. Nestled in between the hills and the plains surrounded by lush green paddy fields a treat for eyes. The cottage was beautiful and comfortable. Certainly a place to stay if u are looking for peace and nature.

We stayed in a cozy room with a lounge area, spending hours reading books and journaling undisturbed while enjoying Manjit’s masala tea. Kalpanaji, a warm-hearted elderly woman, added a special touch to our stay, infusing everything she did with care and affection. On days we weren’t out exploring, I would sit in the spacious kitchen-cum-dining area, chatting with her as she worked. Our conversations were delightful, and I even picked up a few cooking tips! These moments made my trip more enriching. Truly, it is not just a stay—it is an experience. It is a home first and foremost—a genuine family space—not a commercial stay dressed up to mimic the feel of a home. From a traveler’s perspective, Mungpoo offers excellent accessibility to all the tourist spots one would typically cover from Sittong. However, unlike Sittong, Mungpoo is refreshingly quiet, free from the usual tourist rush, and perfect for those seeking serenity and those who like to explore places associated with Tagore.
