We are situated on the NC500 route. Lybster is a very quiet and peaceful village with much to see and do. We have a beautiful harbour, golf course and “Whaligoe steps” are less than 8 miles away as are the historic “Camster Cairns”, "Dunrobin Castle" only 50 minutes drive and the "Castle of Mey" about 45 minutes drive away.

Staxigoe is the ideal place for cold water swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking. The beach behind the stack is the perfect place to look for shells or find hidden sea glass. Ideally situated for exploring the north of Sutherland and Caithness, this area is popular for walking, fishing, surfing, golfing and has one of the most beautiful beaches in the area!
