The house was beautiful, tastefully updated and very well organized. We loved using the fireplaces and Kate had the house nicely decorated for the holidays. The kitchen was wonderful and we enjoyed cooking our Christmas dinner there. It was a perfect setting for a vacation rental, lovely grounds, footpaths just around the corner, just perfect! And Kate was very responsive to all our requests. Recommended great local restaurants and a 13th century church for Christmas Day. Excellent accommodation! We loved it!

what a great quirky place, when you enter into the kitchen/breakfast area it looks compact but upstairs feels a lot bigger. would definitely return if coming back to Southend.

This was my first booking with Airbnb so I didnt really know what to expect but Mel has certainly set the standard. She is a friendly, helpful, honest, and incredibly responsive host. The house was exactly as described and the quiet location was perfect for us. We'll definitely stay again when we return to Mersea Island, which was beautiful too!

A perfect base for us to use ahead of my sister in law’s wedding in Stock. The house was easy to find, close to the high street and incredibly well stocked with all the facilities and gadgets we needed to get the wedding party ready on the big day - including a 2 week old baby! Thanks Stacy & Tom for being flexible with sleeping and parking requests too

The property is very well kept and feels more like a home than an Airbnb. Plenty of space to park and a comfy bed for all that stayed. We had an issue with leaking water above the boiler but Sat and her team of maintenance guys came around straight away and resolved the issue promptly. Sat is extremely responsive to any questions or queries. Wouldn't hesitate is choosing this property again if I'm working in the area.

Our party was a group of six ladies and the main reason for our trip was to visit Call the Midwife location in Chatham Docks. This house was a perfect location -approximately 2 miles away. We travelled by taxi to the docks and came back on foot and on the bus. There are a number of food shops and eating places close by. I would thoroughly recommend Rowlands Bistro nearby. There was plenty of space for all of us in the living/dining/kitchen area with comfortable seating. The kitchen had enough equipment for self catering, although we didn't eat in apart from breakfast. All the beds were very comfortable and clean and there were enough washing facilities-two showers, plus basins with plenty of soap, shampoo, toilet rolls etc. The heating in the house was very good. Kingsley was a very helpful host and very quick to respond each time I made contact. The property is excellent value for money and I would be more than happy to stay there again- I thoroughly recommend it.

Stella has a fantastic two bed apartment here with wonderful views out to the water. Everything is within walking distance whether that be shops, pubs or just a nice stroll along the coastline! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Kent and get the best of both worlds being so close to the station and city but also being on the doorstep of so much greenery and countryside. Stella was fantastic as was her assistant Natasha.

Stayed here for 3 nights as was visiting my sister who lives nearby, everything was as described, nice was very kind and very helpful! My only issue is was the amount of stairs (with a baby/pram) that said I would stay here again 100%, thanks nico for a welcoming stay!

Janet and Lloyd's home was our initial landing place for our move to the UK from North America. Impeccably outfitted, decorated, and well provisioned. Convenient connections to London as well as backyard access to the Kentish countryside complete with vineyards, golf, history, walking trails, and of course - pubs. The apartment was prestine. Check in was great. The lovely lady from Bournemouth checked us in and made sure our fridge was stocked with milk and water and teas and coffees. She was lovely and very helpful. Everything was walking distance and perfect for us. Thanks again would highly recommend.

Gareth's place is a great place to stay, close to the sea front with a short walk to pubs and restaurants which are really good. The apartment has everything you need and is really comfortable. A great host and i will definitely be back.

Wow! it's the easiest way to describe our whole stay. The apartment was fantastic, from the moment you stepped in, it felt like home. A place to unwind and relax. Everything is placed in such a lovely way that it feels like you put it there yourself it genuinely felt like our own home. The view from the balcony was incredible. Being able to sit there and drink a coffee looking out over the ocean was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again for another get away!! David was very helpful from the moment I booked his lovely apartment—always ready to assist. The apartment has a charming touch and is conveniently located right next to Lakeside. Bus and train options are nearby, and it's easy to get around on foot as well.

Is a lovely flat for getting around Medway. perfect location for shopping at dockside or popping to the nearby restaurants. stocked tea and coffee which we appreciated.

I am a heavy travellers . I stayed so many places before. Hotels or flats. Aniesha’s flat is like a five star hotel suite! Very modern and stylish. The building is only 1.5years old. Very clean and the location is very convenient just in front of railway station and near supermarket and shopping center. Lots of restaurants nearby. It makes me feel like home. Thank you Aniesha! What a lovely place to stay in Chelmsford. Very comfortable with all amenities and 15 minute drive to town centre. Would recommend!

We had a great stay at Kates place. it's very deceiving to look at but the place is very spacious,off street parking it's perfect for a city break away. the beds are super comfy and the place was spotless. definitely worth a stay

Samantha’s Penthouse apartment was exactly as described and so much more. So airy and spacious and decorated so lovely and thoughtful. Had me looking where things came from to get for my own home. Communication was perfect, also checked in with us to see everything was ok and checked in smoothly. Location was just enough out of Southend to have a good 20 min walk to the pier. Recommend the train on there as well. Toby Carvery was 2 min walk and easy food for a night out. Also the chip shop 5 mins walk was really nice too. Overall such a lovely stay and shall be returning as some point. Thank you ☺️
