This was a great house for a family reunion. The space was large and the location very convenient to head into Manchester City. The hot tub is surprisingly great for up to 4 people. Plenty of beds are spread out across the 2 top floors. The house was clean, comfortable and easy to keep warm.

This is a great property in a really well located village, convenient for people wanting to walk either the Pennine Way or trace the route of the Kinder Trespass. The village has lots going on for its size, with shops, pubs and restaurant. The property itself is spacious and well- laid out - each bedroom was big, and the master bedroom is huge! Downstairs there is a large lounge, dining room and kitchen with everything you might need. Very good place to stay.

This was a great place to stay - it was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Check in and check out was very easy. Adam was communicative, extremely helpful and responsive to our questions. Would love to return if in Manchester again.

We had a brilliant weekend stay in Michelle's family home, which was absolutely perfect as a base with our two children and grandma for a family wedding. The house is huge and beautifully decorated, and set up with everything you could need to entertain the kids (a stunning garden in the sunshine as well!). We loved the open plan kitchen space looking out onto the garden. Michelle was so helpful and brilliant at communicating with us, all the information provided was so useful. A wonderful home from home, really couldn't have asked for more. We would definitely stay again! Thank you so much xx

Great house in a great location. Spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. New Mills is a lovely little town to potter about in, lots of independent shops and cafes, interesting river walk and you can pick up the Sett Valley trail here. There is a gem of a theatre opposite the house - catch a show if you can. From the house, you can easily drive to the Peak District - fantastic landscape, walking etc. Would thoroughly recommend this house.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here and we would recommend to anyone visiting Sale or Manchester. Rachel is a great host, we had everything we needed in the apartment. To get to central Manchester was very easy using the tram. Would definitely return when we come back to Manchester.

A lovely romantic hideaway with surely the best views of anywhere. We found the place warm and cosy, with a lovely town nearby having lots of shops to explore. We did a lot of walking and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. Ladybower was the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day. All amenities provided. Wonderful.

Truly a home from home. Nathan has thought of everything - we really didn’t want for anything. He was super helpful dropping a travel cot off for us on the first night. If you’re on the fence don’t hesitate, book it! Should we ever need oaklands again I would book it in a heartbeat. Perfect for families with open space and garden. Not to mention the toys that my three little boys were super excited to explore. Thanks again 😊
