Zattere English Cottage close to Guggenheim

This apartment looks like an English cottage is in the middle of the historic center but sheltered from the crowd: the previous owners were two English University professors who loved Venice and came here to write. When we saw it it seemed simply perfect for just 3 nights or a longer stay: the kitchen is fully equipped, the living area is comfortable and with a real fireplace , the bedroom is very large and the large bathroom is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day!

The apartment is located on the Giudecca island and belongs to the historical center of Venice . The most exciting thing when you arrive by boat is the wonderful view of the Giudecca Canal . A view that opens the heart and has captivated many artists who frequented the city .This part of Venice, perhaps one of the few that remained authentic, has been preserved from the arrival chaotic of the tourism with its own cultural and residential rooted tradition.

In passato la mia casa ha accolto attori ma sopratutto pittori. Potrete godere dei dipinti, e delle icone lasciate dagli amici su tutte le pareti di casa, tutto originale. Sono contenta di condividere questa arte con i miei ospiti. Dedicate qualche minuto ai quadri, alle opere e ai mobili, tutta la casa ha pezzi di novecento italiano.
