Street parking is free but challenging at times. The house is located directly below the incoming flight path. You are encouraged to read the reviews regarding this.Ideal for four.

Spacious apartment, old world charm

Our open-space apartment is full of charm and character. From the Spanish-tiled private entry to the footed tub shower, you will experience a unique feeling. Enjoy the nearby vibrant restaurant scene as well as the rooftop deck with its harbor view! The ceilings are low in a couple spots and could be a challenge for folks who are especially tall. My boyfriend is 6'4" and has learned to adapt! It may be something to consider. House noises travel in this old home, so it can be a factor for some.

Mike's House and Garden

The care taken to honor the atmosphere of the original 1910 house creates a feeling of another time and place. The house is secluded in a prize winning garden and approached through a stone pergola. The Craftsman furniture, lighting and antique Persian carpets reflect a distant and captivating sensibility. This house has been featured in three books and “American Bungalow” magazine. The garden was mentioned in Sunset Magazine and featured as one of the premier gardens of University Heights.

The Convention Center is also nearby if you are attending a special event or conference. Ocean beach and Mission beach is a quick 12 min drive. Single family home with large master suite at back of house.

Museums, restaurants, theaters & nature are all nearby. Located in historic Bankers Hill, next to Interstate 5, near the airport and city center. With 2 living rooms, my house is perfect for travelers needing separate space. One parking spot is available. Extra large vehicles will have to park on the street.

Rooftop views 10min walk to Balboa Park/Zoo/Bars

Enjoy this peaceful second-story new guesthouse overlooking the treetops! Walking along side the main house into this secluded cottage, you’ll embark on your own vacay just 10 minutes from the airport. This converted separated garage is a home away from home with walking distance to University Ave with Communal Coffee for breakfast, and outdoor dinner dinning at Louisiana Purchase. If the zoo is what you desire, it is not a far walk but a little hike through the canyon is required.
